Neighborhood coffee shop with a really warm and inviting atmosphere driven by the service from the staff. They’re all really lovely and kind people who are making really good espresso drinks. They do a great job executing on classic espresso drinks. They also like to experiment with creative flavors for specialty drinks — I think they hit more than they miss, but I also want to say that I appreciate that they want to push the envelope and try some drinks you aren’t going to find everywhere (I’m thinking of the chamoy apple latte as an example).
The space is a little small but whaddyagonnado. I really appreciate the love they bring to the drinks! They have a small case of pastries but AFAIK they aren’t doing like food options.

Delicious coffee for a standard LA price. Better to take to-go than to eat in since it’s a bit tight. If you’re close by looking for coffee it’s probably the best option in walking distance.

We stumbled upon Good Intentions Coffee while exploring LA. As two guys from Prague, Czech Republic, we felt right at home. The coffee itself was incredible—we had to order their fantastic espresso tonic because it was so perfectly balanced and delicious. The cafe has a fantastic, carefully curated atmosphere, with every detail feeling intentional. The best part of our visit, however, was meeting the owner. She was unbelievably kind and genuinely a joy to talk to. She took the time to chat with us, and her friendliness made our coffee break feel like a true, personal connection. The quality of the coffee is outstanding, but the warm and welcoming spirit of the owner is what makes this place truly special. We highly recommend Good Intentions Coffee to anyone looking for a superb cup of coffee and a genuinely lovely experience.

They are always excellent at choosing food brand and brands for their coffees. I am not an expert taster but the New Yirgacheffe Koke Honey beans were delicious as a pour over! Vibrant smell with hints of fruit, you get a hit of zesty brightness, simmers into a milky not too dark chocolate note and ends CLEAN with no lingering bitterness or darkness on the tongue. Try the new beans, try all the beans, wonderful coffee as always :)
