Excellent delicious, fresh, healthy vegetarian food served in a highly uplifting atmosphere. Nice people, and fantastic location next to the Krishna temple. We also went to the Bhagavad Gita museum next door and thought that was fabulous. Will definitely return the next time we are in LA!

The buffet is endlessly fresh and an amazing DEAL for anyone who needs to stretch a dollar. The devotees are kind and sweet and since I've been going for over thirteen years I've never once been "recruited" or given any talk. They all know me though. Even if I go missing for months. They remember my name. My story. My daughter. Our story. How she hated the place, how she caved in, how she had my ULTIMATE 40th birthday catered by THEM when she was just 14. She still LOVES *HARE KRISHNA* as we call it. God is here. Love is here. Eat at this spot. Have your belly filled.

I've only been here once, a Saturday afternoon after a Bikram Yoga class at their home headquarters on La Cienega The food was delicious and the atmosphere welcoming and cozy. The young lady at the register was dressed in full Hare Krishna and a little quiet and timid, but very nice.

I've only had a chance to visit the Govinda's locations in Tucson and Houston. So happy I had a chance to get to know this location as well. Overall, the food options are a bit limited compared to the other locations, and it is full service (instead of open buffet style). But the food -- always vegan and vegetarian -- is absolutely delicious and holds very well. You can get a solid meal at less than $15, and feel absolutely light and full of energy immediately after (there does not appear to be a set price for takeout -- food appears to go $6.50 per pound). I especially love the lentils (lentil anything!), paneer and the samosas. The mango lassi is also pretty good, albiet a bit watery. The space, with the restaurant downstairs and the shop upstairs, also works very well. There is some outdoor seating -- but good luck with parking. There is a tiny lot right out front, but be cautious of neighborhood parking, as parking enforcement is very active in the surrounding area.
