I am really shocked to see that an Italian restaurant like this does not have anyone in the front of the restaurant to greet customers. That is a must! I walked in, and there was no one there to greet me. I had to go to the back, near the cafeteria line which is how the restaurant is set up, to find the cashier. I placed a to go order, and I’m still waiting for it. The lady cashier who took the order was totally unhelpful and put me aside like I was just a number. I sure hope I get my order. If I don’t get it soon, I might just leave and chalk it up to a bad experience. Either way, I will never come back to this establishment again. Update: I finally got the chicken salad I ordered, and it was OK, but l’d call it nondescript although the house dressing was decent. It came with only one measly piece of garlic bread, which was dried out. I bought 2 pieces of cheesecake, but have not tried them yet, so we will see. But this restaurant had a strange vibe! Mainly, they need a hostess for patrons coming into the restaurant. They must just not want to spend money on any extra personnel!

I just want to give a shout out to Aron as I picked up a tray of meat lasagna, spaghetti meat sauce, salad and garlic bread for my New Year's party and he gave me detailed easy prep instructions to make it hot and taste amazing. Everyone was very pleased. The only issue I have is he said that I would have enough for left overs but my family took take home plates of everything and left me with a few noodles the next day. I guess those are the pitfalls of being a good host! If you ever are in the area stop by and treat yourself as I have for the past 40 years. In the words of Jim Harbaugh, it just doesn't get any better than this.

This place has been on my list of places to try for quite a while now and yesterday was finally the day and I was very pleased. I ordered takeout and when I got there, the place looked very nice inside - very typical old school Italian with a deli style setup. Service was friendly and welcoming and the food was AMAZING! Lasagna just like your Nonna made and the prices were quite reasonable I have removed them from my places to try list and moved them to my places to go back to list. Totally recommended
