This was our 2nd time in 3 days at Gritz N Wafflez! Everything we tried, from waffles to wings to tenders to shrimp & grits to eggs to bacon - superb in flavor, texture - ALL THE THINGZ!!! Run, don't walk, to experience this explosion of flavor!

We stopped by this restaurant leaving the airport, and it was an excellent decision.. The restaurant had a good vibe, and the owner and staff were exceptionally nice. The food was superb. We had the vanilla bean waffles, catfish, shrimp, eggs and the grits w/cajun cream. I highly recommend this restaurant for brunch. The owner is from Duncanville, TX, so Texas family when you are in LA, stop by you will not be disappointed.
Food was 10/10. Can’t wait to visit their new bigger spot. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. If you want brunch vibes, great atmosphere, and outstanding service this is the place to be.
Kid-friendliness: One of the customers kids was crying and one of the staff picked up the kid and calmed her down.
Food and service was great and I can't wait to go to the new place and experience more of the menu . We met other people who were regular customers and the where very pleased and also shared their experiences with us. It has a good vibe to it.

Food is overall good but the service is absolutely terrible. When I first walked in I saw an employee sitting down chit chatting without greeting so I just stood there looking stupid. Then once I sat down and ordered my food they came in cardboard trey boxes because they didn’t have plates??? Not only that the owner of the business went around greeting everyone else’s table yet I was never greeted not once just completely ignored. This place is completely unprofessional and I will not be eating here again 🤦🏾♀️
Vegetarian options: Don't let you eyes be bigger than your stomach ✨️ 😌, hardy food will last all day.

Listen I have NEVER Had a Waffle like a had at Gritz N Wafflez. That Peach Cobbler Waffle was bussin. The Shrimp and Catfish was seasoned to the godz and that Tea was made by somebody from the south. Overall this place is a hidden gem and i can see this becoming a very popular franchise soon. Now come eat.
