The daybreaker sandwich is SO delicious. Great option for a breakfast sandwich in the area. I’ll be coming back for it.
Bummer that the menu is not allergy friendly (my partner has a peanut/tree nut allergy). There are some other nearby breakfast options that are though, like Alfred Coffee!

If I could give this place negative stars, I absolutely would. The behavior of the two female baristas was beyond unprofessional—rude, dismissive, and downright discriminatory. It is shocking that management allows employees who treat customers with such disrespect to represent their establishment.

My partner and I were nothing but polite, thanking them and showing appreciation as we left. Instead of basic courtesy in return, one of the baristas deliberately said, “No, we would appreciate it if you don’t come back… you’re not welcome.” That type of conduct is not only unacceptable—it is hostile and discriminatory.

As paying customers, we should never be treated this way. Management should be ashamed to employ individuals who tarnish the reputation of the business with such arrogance and lack of professionalism. This was not just poor service—it was targeted mistreatment that has no place in any professional environment.

It had been a moment since last coming here and it was super tasty and better than last remember with a refreshed Interior and menu. I really loved my breakfast tacos and the flat white was tasty.

I just adore the staff at the traction DTLA location. Very personable and always on point. I basically go because they have vegan items. The vegan burrito bite slaps and the price is just right!

This morning, we tried an unfamiliar Groundwork location in Downtown LA, as we usually prefer the Launchmount and Sunset spots. I typically don’t write reviews unless absolutely necessary, but I feel compelled to share my experience.

We spent nearly $60 on our food, and my mom was with me. When I asked Ali for a side of aioli to accompany my burrito, I was told there would be an extra charge due to company policy. This response was not only rude but also completely unacceptable. I had already paid for my burrito, and there was no effort made to accommodate my request.

I’ve visited many Groundwork locations and have never encountered this issue before. It seems that this location prioritizes profit over customer service. It's a matter of principle—kindness should not be disregarded. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this location.
