Most disgusting coffee. And very overpriced for a small portion.
1000% times better than Verve nearby. And staff is really kind and attentive. Great chill atmosphere. Such a great vibe! I dunno why Verve is popular when this place is around.

What a welcoming little spot! I'm visiting family and they brought me here for coffee and a muffin. Service is fantastic and the atmosphere is relaxed and neighborly. My oat milk (Minor Figures) latte and blueberry muffin were delicious.

Stopped in just as we were walking past. Grabbed a chai, a hibiscus iced tea (Daniel suggested a splash of agave which made the tea DELICIOUS) and a coffee. The staff was BEYOND amazing, great recommendations, amazing suggestions and even let us taste the cashew milk before putting it in the drink. We had a whole conversation about their new concentrated cold brew, and had a taste. It’s honestly the perfect thing for traveling or an easy cold brew without having to worry making it. Would 10/10 recommend the concentrated cold brew.Huge huge shoutout to Daniel and Jeff (hope we spelled his name right!). This just became our go to neighborhood coffee spot. Ambience is great, staff is top notch.
Dietary restrictions: Vegan, Kosher marking on a lot of the drinks.
Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a ramp to get in, with accessible seating for folks in a wheelchair.

Seriously don't understand the hype. As someone that hasn't had Starbucks in 3 years, because their coffee tastes disgusting, and I prefer to support small businesses, I never thought I'd accidentally stumble upon worse coffee than Starbucks.Yesterday was my first and last time doing business with Ground Work. I got a burrito and a cold brew coffee. The staff are great, the burrito was absolutely delicious, and their spicy mayo was great with it, but the coffee.... horrific.Initially I thought it might be a sweetness issue. It wasn't very sweet at all (I dont like my coffee very sweet but I want some sugar) so I added more sugar but the off putting taste remained. The same with my wife's coffee. Neither of us finished our coffee. I had 3 sips and poured it out. My wife (bless her) managed to get a 3rd of the coffee down though she looked disgusted the whole time.My conclusion was this... I hate Starbucks, and will never have it again, but as burnt as their "coffee" tastes, it still was recognizable as coffee. The "coffee" I had from Ground Work yesterday was not idenfiable as coffee to me. Had it been a blind taste test I would never have guessed it was coffee.I just don't understand the hype around this spot but it's not for me.
Love this place. Come here many mornings for a coffee and little bite to eat. Stephen, one of the employees here is always a nice and gives good recommendations. Being a nitro coffee fan I highly recommend the nitro coffee as it’s from the tap and always foamy. Also recommend the little burrito bites they have. Matcha lattes are great too with my recommendation oatmilk hot or cold.
They used to have an open kitchen for more food but for some reason they don’t anymore. Definitely miss that part for more options. The sunset location has it though at cahuenga blvd and can always go there.
Also a great place to sit and chill for a bit but I usually get it to go.
