A great restaurant that keeps getting better. I went last week with a friend. The mole'was delicious and the tlayuda succulent. Great service too!

Don’t order the Chiles Rellenos. They don’t make them like before. They’re using a different kind of Chile, the size of a Serrano chile. You’re pretty much eating a slab of cheese with egg. They tried to convenience me that it did have chile lol. been eating there for over 15 years and food is just gone down in quality.

Nice place. Its complexity, its structure, a little piece of land far from its place of origin, is great. That's what it feels like to be there. Its decoration also adds a touch of memories. I loved the band that was playing that night. The diversity of people in this place is fantastic.

Very good food! I recommend the pozole! The agua fresca del día is amazing! There is a little bit of a wait, typically 20-30 minutes on the weekends, but it is totally worth it. There is exceptional service here as well. The feel to the place is great! There is live music! It is kid friendly as well!

Went in with a reservation, ended up being told my table will be ready 10 minutes each time. Over a 30 minute wait. Just left.
Fantastic, traditional Oaxacan cuisine. Been coming here for 30+ years. Mole sauces that have no corners cut for ingredients nor preparation. 40+ ingredients and spices in each mole sauce. Ridiculously complex and delicious. I try to find any excuse to come to the area so I can enjoy the authentic fare. They used to have a few more locations, but they're now back to just this one single, original restaurant. I pray it survives. When I think of all the corporate cookie cutter "sanitized" or higher end "Mexican" restaurants that serve overpriced mediocre food, I'm so happy places like this exist in SoCal.

Good food. I just don’t like that aguas frescas don’t have free refills, besides that everything was great I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Excellent meal and service. Sunday night and the band played. Very enjoyableKid-friendliness: The hostess took trouble to check all was good for our 2 yo. He loved the band?
