Chill vibe, small and local feel yet somewhat modern imo. Got the Sampler-the OG, I loved every single bite of it but the top 2 pick are Bistek en Salsa Roja and Chicharon.

Guisados in DTLA is incredible! The tacos are bursting with flavor, and the fresh, handmade tortillas take them to the next level. I visited with my girlfriend and our dog, and we enjoyed sitting outside—lots of seating available both indoors and outdoors. Parking isn’t the easiest, but we walked, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Great vibes, friendly staff, and dog-friendly! Highly recommend if you're in the area!

I have been wanting to come try this place for a while, and it finally happened. There are a handful of locations, but this one wasn't very clean. The patrons were questionable, and there was no actual bathroom inside. There is a bathroom close by except it too is in a questionable location, to the point that a guard is needed. I guess it is expected due to the city that's it is in. With all of that, you would think the prices would reflect it, but I don't feel that is the case. As you can imagine, I thought the food was pricey, but at least it was pretty good. We started with the sample plater so we could try the different meats. We weren't crazy about the chicken mole, the chochinita pupil, the puerco en salsa Verde, or the asada. We did loved the black beans, the steak picado, the chorizo and the chicharrón. The best part is the handmade corn tortillas. Their salsas were fine. They were very spicy and I like spicy. I'd check prices before getting there, specially if you're getting beers. Beers were extra pricey. Overall not a bad place if you live close to one or happen to be around. I wouldn't drive to one just to try their food.

this restaurant has the nicest workers and the best tacos ever. The tortillas are fresh made to order. My faves are the frijoles and the Papa's con chorizo ? also the cantaloupe juice is delish ?
This is a mandatory stop whenever I come to the LA jewelry mart! The chorizo quesadillas are sinfully delicious ? I'm glad I live 1100 miles away because I would not be able to control my cravings if I lived closer.
