Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken

One of the best fried chicken places in LA. Now I know what fresh chicken tastes like. That kick of heat is fantastic.

Went here last year when I was visiting Newport Beach, best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Service was great and fast.

Really good food. Chicken is really good. I like the mac and cheese as well. Erick is a good server as well. We will be back

Gus must be a out of his got dang mind cuz his prices are out of control...Way Too expensive for me & my family! Not even gonna post any pics. Trying too price gauge is really shameful

Great service and fresh fried chicken every time we’ve been

First things first the outside doesn’t match the inside in a great way. So cool and unique inside. It was my husband’s and I first time there. We both got the chicken sandwiches but after watch people around us I think we should have gotten the plates instead but either way the sandwich was delicious chicken was moist and crunchy with/ delicious flavor. We also got the fried okra, I don’t particularly like okra so sad e’d to say I wasn’t a big fan of it even when it was fried however my husband who’s from the south and does like okra says it was great! We then got offered sample of the pies and ultimately decided on the chocolate pie (that’s not the exact name). The pie was great. We also got a medium size Mac n chews and that was amazingly delicious!! Overall nice experience it’s very pricy for simple food though but that’s LA that you get charged $12 for a chicken sandwich only. Unfortunately i didn’t take pictures lol not sure if they have parking we parked at a meter outside.

The cup says it all, if you haven't eaten at Gus's, you haven't eaten fried chicken. They have the BEST fried chicken and I was so happy to get it again while visiting LA with my wife. The meat is seasoned so we'll and is extremely juicy. The mac and cheese and potato salad sides we perfect with the meal. We got a breast, a wing, and a drumstick and it was perfect for two people. Very easy to order online and pick it up so we could go have a fun picnic in perfect 70 degree weather. They have very nice seating inside as well.

My friend experienced racial profiling at this establishment, FIRE THIS WOMEN IMMEDIATELY!! She was rude and definitely racist
