Really a great place for a very nice meal. My husband enjoyed his New York strip stake, and I my scallops. The bread was excellent as was the dessert. Service was good and unobtrusive. It was not trying to be a two-star Michelin restaurant, which was good because it delivered a very solid one-star for a very solid price.
I have ordered some holiday items from Gwen and The Pie Room in the past and have been looking forward to the full dining experience. Unfortunately it was a cold winter night and we were seated in the outdoor/indoor atrium area. It was quite cold out there and I really felt separate from the restaurant so the ambiance was lacking. Food was fabulous and the service good! We got caught in traffic and were 14 min late but called to notify and the reception desk was not nice. Other than that it was worth a visit and will do it again when going to the pantages.
