Compared to the other restaurants in this category H&H falls short by a long shot.
The salad bar area is very limited and the items on it were not very fresh looking. Missing were most of the protein options in abundance at other steakhouses.
The sides dishes on the salad bar were not very appealing. The side dishes served at the table were lukewarm to cold. The cheese bread one of the stars of this type of restaurant was served hard and cold.
The meats offered mainly consisted of less expensive cuts, chicken legs, sausages, ribs, only with the occasional more expensive cuts but with small portions offered of them.
The time between when the different cuts were offered was longer than it should have been. This created gaps in the dining experience.
The one area H&H did not fall short on was the price. They still charge as much the steakhouses offering more.

John and his team were very accommodating and helpful as they have been in the past. They went out of their way to help my wife, who is on a very strict diet. They made it a great experience as we celebrated one of my daughter's 18th birthday. All 13 people in our party loved the food and the experience. Kira, our server, was awesome as well as all of the others that helped her!

If you are a lover of meat, this is the best experience in LA. The best value, only stayed a week, but this was the only place I revisited on the week.

6/5 stars if I could — Absolutely amazing! The service staff were among the most kind and enjoyable people I’ve encountered in LA. They took requests with joy and got you it quickly. The management thanked us for coming in and was very kind as well. The food presentation was also beautiful and tasted even better! The unlimited cocktails is an unbelievable deal for top tier drinks from a professional bartender. It is actually insanely awesome. I will return when in town every time and couldn’t recommend this establishment more.

Paid a premium price to wait in a not so premium seating. Meat be either bland or overly salted, no in betweens. Had me waiting more than eating, would'nt recomend wouldn't return.

Ordered via UberEats and picked up myself. Food was great except the Pudum De Leite which looked nothing like the photos. Packaged poorly too… everything leaked all over the bag.

Was having a great night until my friend got ill from something he ate at H&H. While we were unsure if it was an allergic reaction or food poisoning, we went to the hospital. I realized my car was left with valet, and I called them to see if they could hold the car. Unfortunately, no one picked up.
The next day I called them, and was told they received my voicemail and they said my car was safe. I was relieved. But then valet told me they were charging me an overnight fee of $50. I spoke with the manager and he said the valet service is hired by the restaurant, but not controlled by them.
I then was told the fee was $35. I was confused why the price suddenly changed and told them it felt like they were arbitrarily upcharging me. Then he changed the price AGAIN. I looked at the curbstand contract posted on their valet counter (pictures attached) and there is no mention of a $50 overnight fee (or a $35 overnight fee for that matter).
I have no problem paying an extra fee for an overnight of valet. And it was indeed my own fault for not making it back from the hospital in time. But there was nothing on the “contract” that states an overnight fee or anything giving valet operators the right to upcharge as they please.
The manager of the restaurant came out to address the situation and said “I don’t know what to tell you—both of you are right. But you’ll unfortunately have to pay whatever he says.” This was disappointing to hear from the manager. The Valet services were not right; they just had all the power… and there was nothing I could do about it and had to pay what they demanded.
Really disappointing experience and I hope valet services will update their contract so other customers don’t feel taken advantage of like I do.
