I had high expectations coming to the Häagen-Dazs at The Grove, but sadly, it was a major letdown. The staff was unenthusiastic and seemed like they didn't want to be there, which really killed the vibe from the start. The line moved slowly, and by the time I got to order, half the flavors I wanted were either unavailable or melted-looking. They need to change management all these youngings never take work serious.
The ice cream itself? Not worth it. I ordered a classic flavor (vanilla), but it tasted flat and not as creamy as I remembered. Even the waffle cone was stale! For the premium prices they charge, you expect top quality, but this place didn’t deliver at all. Save yourself the disappointment and try one of the other dessert spots around The Grove.

I’m a mall worker next to the haagan dazs and overheard unreal professionalism from both managers fernanda and maria . They were not only being ignorant and rude of customers (shrugging other employees to attend to them while they were back chatting unprofessionally) but to their staff as well. It is one thing to talk behind the backs of customers and employees but it’s another to talk down horribly of them in front of other people knowing people like myself can overhear these conversations and can only imagine guests of the mall as well . This place lacks real professionalism it seems as these “managers” need a bit more training if this is how they choose to represent a franchise like haagan dazs.

It says open at 10:00 am but me and my baby waited till 10.20 still not opening. We really wanted some early snack dissappointed:(
Ordered smoothie today and 7 mins later no smoothie. I asked the lady there today on an update and she rudely replies they are making it. I paid and even tipped and had to leave without since my ride was there.

Omg lol everyone is leaving. These two guys are so stoned lol watched him take 10 min to scoop 2 scoops. I’m dying this is hilarious. I watched 15 people walk away because they couldn’t wait. This is hilarious. I cannot believe the brand is letting them get away with this.
Slow….They need to sort out their service. It shouldn’t take 30 minutes to get a scope of ice cream
Spent $41.60 to purchase some ice cream, sorbet, and shakes for the kids on a whim after shopping at The Grove. Store 1356.What a terrible way to end a pleasant day.Our daughter, who turned 5 on Saturday November 04th, 2023, dropped her medium sized strawberry sorbet cup immediately after being handed her order. When my wife kindly requested they replace her cup, the young caucasian male working there on Saturday said they couldn’t replace it for her because it was company policy. My wife further explained that it was an accident, and her birthday, so they begrudgingly made an exception and provided her with a small cup of sorbet, because GOD forbid they replaced her sorbet cup with the same medium size cup she originally purchased. We understand company policy and all, but what has the world come to that when a child drops their ice cream upon being handed their order, that the store decides there’s no recourse for this type of incident? This is not how to win-over customers or keep them for that matter. Stop focusing on the financial implication this has on your bottom dollar, VS the pleasure of a little girl, on her birthday, with her family. She cried over being downsized, but the heartless employee behind the counter thought sticking to company policy was more important than making my child happy.Haagen-Dazs is a washed-up brand anyhow. The Grove should look for a better quality ice cream shop to take over their space when their lease is up. Much better small-batch ice cream out there these days. The apple has fallen too far from the tree with the Haagen-Dazs brand my family recalls when it was once a global brand that actually understood the concept of customer service and satisfaction.Such a shame.

Terrible place, worst service, I wanted to buy an ice cream for my son and the bill was $20. I went to pay with a $100 bill and they didn't have change. Victor, who was the cashier, cared little about empathizing with me and my son at that moment. I wanted ice cream, but incredibly they didn't have Kami
Amazing place to relaxing...
He doesn't speak Spanish.
Haagen-Dazs as a brand may sell itself at a grocery store but absolutely not here with this low level of costumer respect. Staff is horrible, not as sales people, but as human beings. Someone else was polite enough in a previous comment to describe them as “Bad People”, I think bad is a very soft word.
There are 3 other ice cream shops in the area (in the farmer's market) were all closed when I arrived, so I went to the last place open which was this Haagen-Dazs, the line was long but not that terrible, and I already knew the prices were going to be high but its fine because you know exactly what you're getting here. It's fine, but only if you have no other options or want really expensive ice cream.
