Korean food restaurant. Cold noodles were great as this place is known for. Bibimbap in a stone dish(pot) was very tasteful. Try this place if you want taste Korean food.

As someone who truly loves Hamhung-style naengmyeon, I can say this place is definitely a gem. You can tell right away that the broth isn’t made from powders or artificial seasonings—it’s already perfect without needing mustard or vinegar.

The noodles are wonderfully chewy, and both the cucumber and meat were generously served. The interior of the restaurant is quite old, but the staff were incredibly friendly, which made the experience even better.

If you love naengmyeon, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

very authentic naengmyeon (cold noodles) -- a friendly ajumoni showed us how to eat it properly; cut the noodle and stir it like a pro she is
she spoke Korean mostly; communication 10% but vibe 120%
they also serve hot bone soups to accompany the cold noodle... that was the perfect ending we were looking for after a long day :)
highly recommended! (no pictures because we were too invested in the eating experience)

#3 - Nang Myun. $15 for a nang myun and it was excellent. The serving was super generous and tasted so good! It was not super spicy at all.

#10 Beef dumplings with rice cake soup - I also had the dumpling with rice cake. The rice cakes were so satisfyingly chewy! The dumplings were a bit bland.

I really like restaurants with photo of food and price posted on the wall rather than a menu with some oddly named food. They had them big and yellow lol.

The best part is the free parking. I drove around a few times around the block only to realize they had free parking!

I never write reviews but this place is genuinely so good and deserving of business. I've never seen dumplings this big, and the mixed noodles have amazing texture compared to the other ones I've tried and came with pork belly! 100% recommend - I wish this got the same hype as the others.

Very authentic Korean dishes. The host is very welcoming and warm-hearted. The pork spare ribs is sooo delicious. The best 돼지갈비찜 I have ever had. The dumpling is huge. Highly recommend this place.

Horrible restaurant. Worst customer service and absolutely is an absolute disgrace to Korean food and culture. I recommend sun nong Dan or any other place as a matter of fact.

We read a great article on Eater LA about how the owner Sam makes his own noodles from scratch in a vintage noodle machine and had to check it out. It is one of very few (the only?) place to try authentic North Korean style cold noodles in all of LA!

The restaurant isn’t fancy inside, but service was wonderful and it is very clean. The noodles were delicious and unlike any other noodles I have ever had — uniquely chewy yet light and delicate. We liked the spicy cold noodles best. I think with some good marketing you could do an awesome cold noodle pop-up restaurant in a busier place like Sawtelle… not sure how you’d get the noodle machine there though!

Visited twice on weekends in January and February 2025. Food was very good. Establishment could use a renovation. Wasn't busy both times so we were seated right away. Service was good. Parking lot gets packed on weekends!

It might be okay if you like cold noodles with a boring taste, but it was ordinary for my taste. Also, it was a bit disappointing that the menu seemed to be expanded from time to time without any special food taste, whether it was because there were too many menus, whether it was a snack bar or a cold noodle restaurant. The kimchi side dishes were boring and had no special features, and I think the overall menu needs improvement. The person serving us is very friendly.
