Amazing dining experience! I arrived 10 minutes before they opened and was lucky enough to get a seat in the first seating. The setup is intimate, centered around two chefs who prepare each piece of sushi right in front of you. It’s served directly onto your plate, which ensures maximum freshness. I was able to try so many different kinds of fish, and every single bite was incredible. Definitely a must-visit, and I’ll be back for sure!
Haven't been here in years. This was my go to for sushi when I used to live in Little Tokyo. Quality is slightly worst now than before but still decent. I went 2 times this week and the quality of the tuna is different both times. Please refer to my photo to see the difference. Sushi gen might be the better sushi spot now.

There was a line about 15 minutes before opening. They sat about 3/4 of the line once they opened the doors. We out our name down and came back in half an hour. Wait time for us to be seated was 45 minutes including the 30 minute wait which felt like nothing with so much around to do and even snack on in Little Tokyo.
