I grew up watching these commercial advertisements all the time as a kid and tried for the first time! Burger was decent, The staff & owner were so friendly and hospitable, loved the 50s atmosphere.

This restaurant is so good! Everything I've gone to this restaurant, all the employees have been so nice! The burgers are also really good. Highly recommend.

Found a true gem of a hamburger shop here in LA. This place has been open since 1968. The burgers are among the best I've tasted ever. They top them with something like a Chile meat sauce. If you're in the area, stop by here. The owner should franchise this place. Puts In-and-Out to shame. Also had free parking which is unusual in LA.

They have THE BEST fries in the city! ? ? If only they flame broiled their burgers. But it's probably good for my figure that they don't.

If you want a solid “classic burger” or “backyard burger” this is the place to go. Nothing special about the burger. It all comes down to execution. If cook grills burger properly and toasts bun properly then you’ll get a solid burger. Fries are nice and crispy and crushed ice blends well with soda. Only reason they don’t get 5 stars is because the pickle is not good… how hard is it to find a nice kosher pickle?

I’ve been here 3 times. Today was different from the other times. I usually get my #2 with an extra patty and fries. While waiting for my food, I noticed an older man yell at the cook, who was cooking my burger- about flipping the patty too many times. When I got home to eat, the bun and patties were super dry. After washing the food down with 2 cups of water, I decided to call the restaurant to voice my concern in a polite manner. I asked to speak with the owner (Frank); I told Frank what happened and his response: No, I don’t yell at my employees, we play around, blah blah blah. I told him no, I’m not deaf - you did yell at him and that he needs to fix the issue(s) or else he will be losing customers. He said “okay”.

The employees have a good attitude and provide good service. The fries were great. The pickle was great. For $20, the burger and the Owner were a Huge let down!

Frank, if you’re reading this, you need to teach your employees on how to grill burgers BEFORE they start cooking for/serving customers. And, you need to take accountability when a customer points out your mistakes. We all make mistakes. Don’t be a coward and double down. You’re too old for that. Learn from this or else you’ll be losing more than my business.

I would pass by this place on my way to McDonald’s and finally decided to try it out
Before I tried it out, I did read a lot of reviews and I do agree with a lot of the other reviews. The food is OK but It’s not good enough to try for a second time

I would give the burger, 6/10 Nothing special just a basic burger. The bread was a little dry.

The fries 8/10 was what I expected very basic, but we’re cooked very well

The pickle -0000/10 personally found very disgusting taste like it had been sitting in seasoning-salt Don’t know the brine they used to soak the pickles, but it’s nasty..

The customer service is amazing
But sadly, I won’t be returning. My order was almost $17 and for that price I can go elsewhere and get much better tasting food.

I ordered a Combo 4 with extra paddy, French Fries and a Large Lemonade. The Lemonade was good, the fries were what I expected, but the burger was a dissapointment. I found the chilli to be overly waterly. My experience found me a place that was resting to much on its laurels.

These guys don't understand the conce0t of a pastrami sandwich AT ALL. I have literally never had such a terrible pastrami sandwich, it hard 1 third of the meat it should have and was still nearly 11 bucks.. the bun they use is small also.. fries were decent bur again poor portions.. I rarely write bad reviews, only when I feel wronged.. and I felt wronged here..

I think the owner should consider having a burger/cheese combo special priced, Most places have them and it's a bargain to consider. I was charged $18+ for a small cheeseburger, fries and small coke. They charge everything separate it's steep/pricey. Good place but hope they consider offer more specials or is going to be hard to stay in business.

Hamburger Habit is awesome, reminded me of the 50's a lot with their setting. Love the food there from hamburgers, fries, milk shakes, etc. The employees are very friendly/helpful. Hard workers they are, gave me suggestions on what to try. Also they give me an opportunity to design my own hamburger which was really fun and appreciate my picture and also saw other customers pictures in the restaurant. :)

Vegetarian options: Veggie Burger, Too Much Sandwich(White fish, lettuce, tomato, mayo and tartar sauce), Salads, and Soups. :)

Dietary restrictions: There is a few foods and drinks that are lower than the original menu.

Parking: Lot of parking spots

Kid-friendliness: They are so friendly/helpful, always asking "If everything is okay"? and we can ask them for a question and they will have us the answer or give us the item we are asking for, or tell us where it is. :)

Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair accessibility wherever you want to sit they will make you comfort.
