I needed two dozen cupcakes delivered on a specific day. I emailed them 10 days in advance with clear instructions. The sent me a price which I approved within an hour. I was VERY responsive. Then they GHOSTED me for no reason.
The worse part is they strung me along and by the time I realized they weren't going to do it, it was too late to find someone else.
Extremely unprofessional and just a TERRIBLE thing to do to someone. DO not recommend.

I had a wonderful experience coming into the bakery. A staff member helped us choose and customize a wedding cake. She provided great service and useful information. She was very thorough with her work. We tried 3 different cupcakes and they were delicious! I definitely recommend the chocolate cake with buttercream, however all of them tasted great!

My family and I have been coming to Hansenâs Cakes for years and have always loved the signature flavor, scent, and quality that made your cakes so special. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with my sisterâs birthday cake yesterday, as it lacked the familiar taste and richness weâve come to expect. We understand the bakery is under new ownership, but itâs disheartening to see such a noticeable change in quality.

So, the original owner of Hansens sold it to someone else but clearly did not sell the recipe. The cake isnât nasty but Hansenâs has a signature taste and it is in the icing. I have not had Hansens in a while and was craving it for my dadâs bday and parents anniversary which happens to be on the same day, and I instantly could tell the difference. They need to change the name. It is not Hansens anymore. I am 38 and my family has been going here my whole life and we now have to find a new bakery. It just didnât give us the taste we are used to or be craving. Bummer!

Horrible experience. I emailed inspiration photos and did not get what I asked for. I also wanted the name on top of the cake. I was told because it was a sunday there was no one there who could fix it. Flaws: The gold drips are all uniform "same length." You can clearly see the brush strokes on the icing. The cake overall looks poorly decorated and cheap. I tried my best to spruce it up and make it look better, but in the end, I just didn't like the cake, so I did not use it. I later tried a piece of the cake just to see how the flavor was due to reviews, saying the cakes tend to be dry. The cake had a wet, crumbling texture. It was as if they wet the cake with a simple syrup mixture to try and add moisture. It was not good. 98% of this cake went straight to the trash. Waist of money. Disappointed.

Two male employees told me I could do a cake tasting but when I tried to do it with a female employee with a thick accent at the order counter, she said I have to preorder before tasting. THATâS SO BACKWARDS! Clearly they have something to hide! Probably the dry cake like so many other reviews state. Poor service!
