This place is OK. Not the best in terms of the fry, but my favorite spot was notopen on Sunday. I am convinced, no one, nospot in LA makes fish better than Plaza Fish on Western and King. The fry and flavor is exceptional.everyone else is frying the fish to death like chicken
Arguably some of the best shrimp in Los Angeles. And if anyone wants to argue against it feel free to @ me lol. But in all seriousness, this is a really good restaurant in the “real” Los Angeles. I wouldn’t say it’s a Taurus spot, but if you’re a tourist and don’t mind being in the hood getting some real fish and this is your spot. You will definitely have to almost pull teeth to get some extra hot sauce. Highly suggest calling in advance.
I always buy the dinner. You can always get your money worth. Fish always seem fresh. On an occasion, you can find Buffalo fish, my mom's favorite. We have come down from Vegas a number of times to this place for fish. My fav is whiting and red snapper, fried to perfection, and then you can not go wrong with their tartar sauce. Customer Service can be more friendlier. Overall, it is a good choice of place for fried fish, oysters, shrimps, etc.
The fish was alright. But the aera isn't coo at all. Stay alert in Los Angeles
I never liked catfish, my daughter mistakenly bought me some and I've been eating it every since and their coleslaw is so so delicious.
Excellent service. Made our honeymoon special. One of the few places open late in Lahaina area. 10/10 drinks, food, and service.
They need to clean their meat b4 cooking it the fish was very fishy like they just put batter on it and just fire it and the shrimp still has veins smh omg I will never go here again 👎🏻
Loooove their breaded shrimp especially with that hot sauce 😋
The food is good but I won’t be coming back. Fish is one of the cheapest piece of meat you can buy. I ordered the catfish 3pieces and it appears the cut the one piece of fish in half and then cut that into 3 pieces. I think some one with a background on cooking southern food should come in and teach them how to fry oysters. Their technique sucks. I highly recommend this. Before you buy a business please have the previous owners to teach you how to cook. Fish on Friday is a tradition in my family. My fish should not have taken 35 minutes to get home and it’s room temperature. Not acceptable
Rude and horrible customer service after I called my order in they said 20 minutes I get to the there and still had to wait after 30 minutes I asked the cashier how much more time she gets an attitude and says very rudely after cutting me off do you want a refund I said u know what yes I do! Don't spend your money where your not appreciated!

Was in LA visiting my hometown f9r a funeral. My friend suggested this place and the food was very good
The food is good and fresh. My daughter likes the shrimp, fries, hush puppies, and fish 😋
Unhappy about the service I received today 11/27/24 at 1:56pm I was in line patiently waiting to make my order individuals waiting on order showed respect for the line and waited to receive their pickups and I clarified with the employee of the business if there was one or two lines or if he can open the second window for pickups he replied just one line from there forward an older man walked in trying to cut me in line I told him I was next and just before I made it to the window he ignored me to pass the order to the older man without being respectful acknowledging me he gives this man his order because its hot when thats not how to proper business. business.
They never disappoint on any of the food here. I LOVE IT
