The burritos here are huge. Make sure to add some sour cream or cheese to take the edge off.

It was my 1st time at Happy Taco. Got myself an Asada Burrito to go. Decent size and decent amount of meat. Great quality!

I ordered a burrito with scrambled eggs instead of a fried egg, and they completely messed up my order. When I politely pointed it out, the employee gaslit me and claimed the fried egg in my burrito was “scrambled.” I literally had to pull up Google Images to show her what scrambled eggs actually look like.
Instead of apologizing or correcting the mistake, she acted like I was inconveniencing her. No offer to fix it, no refund—nothing until I insisted. And even after making me wait again while they “fixed my order” (mind you, I was the only customer there around 12:10 p.m.), they handed me back the exact same thing. When I asked to speak to a manager, she said the manager wasn’t there and refused to give me a contact number.
This is some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. No accountability, no effort to make things right, just pure attitude. If you enjoy being disrespected, waiting 30 minutes for a wrong order, and arguing just to get basic service—this is the place for you. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

Very disappointing experience. The time I was quoted over the phone was completely inaccurate it ended up taking twice as long. On top of that, the young woman working there was rude and dismissive, with no apology or acknowledgment for the delay. The food is decent, but when the service is this poor, people don’t come back.

This is our go to mexican restaurant, very convenient to us since it’s a walking distance to our place. Today, we have been craving for their Nacho Asada as it has been months that we haven’t order here, however it truly disappoints us since the meat is not the usual meat that they use for their nachos. I feel like the meat were so dry and the portion of the toppings is way lesser than usual. I am gave them 3 stars since I had tons of great experience of their Nacho Asada and we hope for this restaurant to have consistency in their food.
Good food

Dear Happy Taco: The decision to use lots of fresh diced RED onion in your burritos is not a good one. It overpowers everything. Consider using mild white onion like all food trucks in the city. Cheers.
This used to be a good spot. The quality has gone down tremendously. The carne asada has no flavor no seasoning. The prices are ridiculous. The asada fries are whatever. the fries are soggy. It’s gross save your money. Also never any parking there. Oh and horrible service from the girl who takes your order. She’s got attitude

I bring everyone here when they’re visiting LA and have turned so many angelenos on to this spot, it is my favorite breakfast burrito around at the best price with the easiest parking. Chorizo cannot be beat imho
