I hate to write this because I don't want businesses to suffer. I write this as an update that the new baker's products are not what I've come to expect and I didn't think it was right for me to keep the earlier review when the products aren't the same. Harry is getting up there in age and unfortunately cannot bake as he once did. (I learned this at a recent visit to the bakery. A very nice woman told me this.) The sock it to me cake is not the same. the cake is fine but the glaze is now a frosting. The case is not as loaded with sweet potato pies, tea cakes, etc as it once was. Perhaps the new recipes work well for other people. I'm afraid that it doesn't for me. I didn't hate the slices I took. I just miss what it used to be. I wish them well. And most importantly send warm thoughts to Harry Jr.

UPDATED HOURS: Tuesday-Saturday, 11-5 *can't get over what a gem this place is. so blessed to live down the street because this cute bakery is going to see me more often than not! lol So far i've tried the sockit2me, lemon cake, and sweet potato pie and i have not been disappointed once!! the woman at the front is such a beautiful person and really cares for the customers, you can tell she loves her job and really wants to help you with whatever you need. their prices are extremely generous considering the QUALITY and hospitality, everything's is baked fresh to perfection! you know for sure i'll be coming here for al my birthday, thanksgiving, christmas needs! this place is really a gem.
