Hash Restaurant

Paid $13 for a single mediocre 6 inch flavorless waffle. Pay another $2 if you want real maple syrup (though they have maple flavored corn syrup free if you ask for it). No other toppings available? Service was weirdly slow and everyone felt urgent, like it was rush hour, but there were like 3 customers there lol. Overpriced for what it is, sad to say it but there are better options out there.

Hash Restaurant has some solid ideas and a pleasant atmosphere, but it didn’t quite deliver the full experience.

The interior is stylish and comfortable, perfect for a casual brunch or laid-back dinner. The ambiance is pleasant, and the staff were polite—service was generally okay, though a few things got missed, like extra napkins or drink refills.

Food-wise, some dishes stood out. The hash platter was well-seasoned and satisfying, and the avocado toast had fresh, ripe ingredients. However, other items lacked excitement—pancakes felt uninspired, and the eggs benedict was just average. Portion sizes were decent, though not generous.

Pricing felt a little high compared to the overall quality. It’s not overpriced exactly, but you’re paying for the décor and location more than for standout cooking.

Overall, it’s a solid option for a casual meal with friends or family. Worth trying once, but I wouldn’t consider it a must-return spot unless you’re in the mood for something reliably average.

Also a really confusing situation with it being multiple restaurants at once!

Best food ever!
We had an amazing brunch experience at Hash. The food was absolutely delicious—every bite was perfection! Connie, the manager, went above and beyond to make our visit special. Her positive attitude and helpfulness truly made our time there so pleasant. The area is also really nice, with a great vibe for enjoying a meal. Can’t wait to come back!

They moved 2 doors down! Still have the great food! I can only atest to the breakfast, which lasts my family all week. They will have indoor AND outdoor seating! More power to them!

You should know that it is now and located in Rhodini Park, but they still have the same great food and the same great service and it tastes the same. Also I was just there and they big Elmo looking statue has been moved which is sad to see. Ever since covid that area became a ghost town but I'm glad I can still get gyros and Hash Breakfast. I personally love the hash on hash bowl I recommend it with turkey sausage.

Peaceful Dining. Food was SUPERB! The Hash on Hash with Shredded Beef was out of this world. And to top it off Diego was amazing, really attentive and friendly. This is a hidden gem. I'll be back anytime I'm in town.

This place is incredible. Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Also NOT busy on weekend mornings - if you’re coming to LA don’t wait in line for “trendy” places. Go to Hash 🙏

Waiter brought out condiment tray with bug in it that was dying. Asked for a new syrup bottle and he waited like 2min and brought back the same one. My boyfriend ordered the hash on hash & I ordered the chilaquiles. The price of the food is egregious for the quality & taste you get. My food tasted exactly like stomach acid and my boyfriend said McDonald's breakfast was better and had more flavor. First & last time coming here.

This is not a street visible breakfast spot. You may miss it or think gps is wrong. Walking into the plaza, directions are minimal at best. The first door you think is Hash is the kitchen, keep going. Once you get there though, the service was fun, and the food was great. I had the braised beef with eggs and hash browns. Well flavored meal! Both my kids enjoyed their food too.

Been coming here for the “hash on hash” for literally about 5 years now. I always get it the same way and I can always count on them to deliver a consistent quality and taste. One day, that all changed, they now top the bowl with the bacon whole. Which totally ruins the concept and flavor of the bowl. Then the garlic aioli (which is great btw) was on top of the bacon so none was actually even touching the bowl ingredients. I had to take it home and chop up the bacon to emulsify it in the bowl as it should be. I’m so heartbroken. I used to never mind the $20 price tag cus it was so great but now it’s just a bowl of tator tots (they also stopped adding sweet potato tots) and peppers with bacon strips on top …that’s not worth $20 lol like it used to be a unique meal now it’s just some stuff tossed together.. in a bowl The thrill is gone. But on a brighter note the new atmosphere/expansion is eclectic. The indoor seating is comfy and was well needed as eating outside in the playa can get cold and windy. The service is always great and friendly and Everytime I bring someone whatever they get is always always good.

we LOVE the breakfast burritos from hash and order them for delivery every now and then. today we ordered and it came with a chocolate croissant and a handwritten note that said, “free fresh baked chocolate croissant. enjoy :)” this was such a sweet surprise and made our day!! (it was also delicious!) thank you hash ❤️ we love your burritos and will continue to order them.
