Food is actually good but the service does not match the prices or the atmosphere. Went around 6pm on Sat with reservation and we were seated quickly. However the food items took forever to come out, the appetizers came out way after the main dishes. Worst part is the kitchen staff talking and complaining loudly to the servers in a relatively quiet restaurant. While the atmosphere is a modern date night feel, the service of the employees are not on par with it.

Went last night for a birthday and we split the supreme sashimi selection which was great. The sake the waitress recommended was also really good. Looking forward to going back and trying some of their rolls and their lunch options!

Some of the highest quality Japanese cuisine in Los Angeles. All fish is of exceptional quality. Portions may appear small but also true to Japanese presentation. Service is warm and friendly and attentive. A gem!

Excellent service and some of the freshest, best-tasting sushi I’ve had in LA. Will continue to return.

This unassuming place has fantastic sushi. The Hamachi, Blue Fin Tuna, and Toro, were next level. And don't miss out on the Green Tra and Sesame Ice Cream. So glad I found it on my last day visiting LA.

Overpriced, for mediocre food and serving size.

We went cause they were doing a special discount and they also gave us cute tote bags! The sushi was good! I liked the sushi platter and their roll was tasty. Good service too.

My bro and I went here on a whim not expecting anything out of the ordinary and boy were we pleasantly surprised. We got the Supreme Sashimi. I’ve never had fish that fresh in my life—the accompaniments and fine attention to details sent it even further over the top. Truly a wonderful experience which we look forward to enjoying again. Bravo Hato! 👏🏻
