Decent service and medium wait time (about 20-40) minutes, it’s difficult to get them to answer the phone at times just gotta hope you call at the right time. I give them 4/5 stars
P.S. Ask them for ketchup, they say that they already put some in there but sometimes they don’t 😐

Service is horrible. Only provide service to black customers. I ordered 2 fat burgers and a pastrami sandwich and 2 DR. Pepper drinks. My order was #4 and the girls at the counter kept passing up my order. #2,3,5,6,7,and etc. were called and I noticed that those were orders from black folks. My order along with some other customers which were ese’s “south siders” paisas kept getting passed up. I asked the woman in the service counter if she could check on our order and saw that the bag was just sitting there for a while. When I asked her for my drinks she seemed upset. I figured it was because I’m not a blood or crip. I placed my order @ 11:08 Am and received my burgers at 11:56 am and they were not even busy at the time yet. 10/17/25
Never disappointed eating here. The fried fish sandwich is the bomb as are the hamburgers

I swear I just keep trying to give this place a chance I called at 8:15 in the morning. The young lady put me on hold. I was on hold for eight minutes by then I’m almost at the location so I’m thinking to myself. Oh maybe they’re crowded. Maybe they have a quick rush this morning no, I get out my car and walk to the window and the young lady is talking to her coworkers while I’m on hold you don’t know what someone has to do if they’re in a rush if they’re trying to stop through on their way to their destination. I just don’t understand why this lady continues to hire people who don’t have good customer service. And people wonder why we take our business to other races.

You know what's one of the worst things of being a pescaterian? Not finding a good fish sandwich. The chains are meh and it's a gamble going to a small shop. But Hawkins House of Burgers is an absolute win! The catfish fillet is seasoned so perfectly and the bun is so soft. I highly recommend it. The place is take-out only though.

I ordered a fat burger with cheese it was great 8/10 but for the moment my first place spot is primos burgers and maywood 2nd master burger but I can give the 3rd place to Hawkins burgers🤷🏻♂️ just one thing French fries are 10/10 very natural and tick portion

The burgers are so good juicy and fresh
I am a burger conesiuer and this was hands down the best burger I've had! Double meat & cheese. Fries were great too...classic steak fries. Ownership and employees super nice too!
