I love the food I have been going here for years the food has stayed the same, besides the long wait with the long lines the food is well worth the wait.
First time getting a burger from here and will definitely come again. The burger was delicious, well cooked and just enough seasoning on the fries. Definitely recommend to stop by. Almost forget to mention the strawberry lemonade was amazing .

Nice day for some good food. My daughter recommended Hawkins and it did not disappoint. Had the fat burger with pastrami and a large fry. Was able to share the fries with my brother and daughter. Burger was just right, not sloppy yet juicy. The fries were very hot -steak style, a lil salty but we like them that way. Pastrami was just right, not greasy or chewy, just the right consistency. Walk up area was clean and the person taking our order was friendly, she could tell it was our first time and made it a pleasant experience. Parking is a chore, however we found a spot. It took about an hour to get our order. Go early, even if you only order a couple of items, it will take the amount of time on the text they send you , as they cook to order and it looks like they go in order of transaction. Luckily there was a friendly customer there who gave us some nice conversation. Make plans to keep yourself entertained, maybe in your car, as they will text you when ready. Found out you can order ahead. They work hard, tip as much as you can.

I drive uber when I'm in this area this is the only good I eat. I always order the Turkey burger. Today I waited over 45 mins went to the window and my food was waiting when I opened my sandwich it was not hot which let's me know it sat in the window for a while with out a text. I try to support all Black business but this is my last time for this company. There has been other issues but I was always able to overlook.

I go to college down the street and my sister kept asking me to stop by because she kept seeing it and wanted to try it so we make our way over it's the greatest looking area but I wasn't skeptical at all it's LA.... anyways we ordered the fat burger with cheese and fries she got a lemonade she said it was nice sweet and tart. I got kool aid and it was just right iykyk. As for the burgers they were extremely well seasoned and juicy as can be we ate them on the traffic drive home I tell you those burgers made that drive in traffic worth it probably one of the best burgers I've had in a while only one complaint from my sis she just said the fries was little under salted but not too bad as for me no complaints will be stopping by again.
