Korean food that's delicious and nutritious! My family enjoys coming here for not only the food but also ease of parking too. Jook Hyang has a lot of regulars so you know the food is going to be really good. You'll get a ton of freshly made banchan that's well seasoned. I like getting the bibimbap and adding the banchan to it.
This place is hands down the most delicious Korean "home-style" restaurant I have been to in the U.S. The depth of flavor and texture of their jooks are delicate and nuanced, while leaving you with a very satisfied and soothing after-effect. The banchans that accompany the jook are cooked with care and "son-mat" (Mother's Hand) effect. I ate here 3 nights. I tried the bibimbap with tofu, the bulgogi beef, and the chicken porridge. They were all good. I thought the prices were a little high, but I'm not sure what the standard rate for Korean food in the area is.
