Best coffee and service I have ever got in LA. This is more than A+ coffee, it feels like a second home! LA. The surrounding restaurants are amazing too and you can take your coffee in the garden in the back and grab a bite there. Truly an Oasis. Only way to start your day in LA!
first time i’ve wanted to keep my americano black. their espresso is so smooth and floral. the serious-about-coffee product + best prices in LA kind of won my heart 💘
grab a pastry or some bon chon next door and chill in the courtyard by a wall of jasmines and chipper birds
Great coffee, cool people and area, love this place and Cole here often
This coffee shop rulllles. Amazing coffee, great big seating area around back, awesome people.
Great lil spot. Tucked away in a neighborhood. This place was recommended to us. Got some espresso which was a prefect temp & with notes of chocolate and little bit of fruit. Great spot. It’s small so expect to wait, but worth it.
The vibes of this lovely venue, underwritten by the perennially groovy owner, Tim, makes this my go-to for all my coffee + cycling needs 😎
Good place to get coffee at, lots of other little places to eat as well too (burgers and pastries) in the same little plaza. You'll normally find cyclists here on weekend mornings.
Great coffee! Straightforward menu. Seating is limited indoors, but there's seating outdoors. Cute neighborhood shop with great local baked goods for sale!
Finding side parking was fine for me (it can get crowded). It’s tucked in a nice friendly neighborhood, which I thought is a cool touch.
One of my concern was that they ran out of coconut cream (which was part of many their special drinks). I also overheard they ran out of their cups for another customer’s hot drink, so lids did not fit. This was not something I expected on my Monday morning.
Other than that, customer service was great and place was nice and tight to sit in.

Great neighborhood vibe with outstanding coffee quality. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. This place is a real LA gem. And a good stop for cyclists! Awesome courtyard out back.

service A+ but the coffee, ya… not good
You can get really good coffee almost anywhere these days. And you can get good coffee at good prices. This place has good coffee. The prices not so great. $6 for a small latte. On top of which they charge $1 for vanilla syrup.
Their specialty stuff look very interesting. But again pricey.
They trying really hard to gentrify Elysian Valley it seems. They got a Cassells over here now? And some other small businesses. Geez. Exactly what a residential zone needs. Overpriced hipster businesses. Even when they can’t afford to rent space in silver lake they come where they can displace the residents. Because we all know los paisas, aunties and uncles aren’t shopping here.
The upside is, I’m spending more time learning how to brew my own coffee at home. Buying your own espresso machine isn’t such a bad investment anymore.

A fairly decent cup of coffee and a terrible dry slice of some kind of banana bread for $12.50!! That's insane I'll never go back again
