Super cute storefront. Items are overpriced at the cafe and in the smileshop, reminded me of Claire's but a hello kitty themed Claire's. I do wish I could order items online as there were items I wanted to buy but the line was long and I was impatient. Workers are friendly and welcoming.
Dear Hello Kitty Cafe in Los Angeles, I am writing with a heavy heart to inform you my sorrows. My experience at the cafe was subpar as it lacked a significant character in the Sanrio universe. I am speaking highly of our beloved merman, Hangyudon. He is a charming and comical fellow that I could not find any inkling of during my experience at the establishment. It is imperative to increase the representation of this character.
My daughter and her friends enjoyed their hot coco, but my drink was this strawberry green tea, and it was way too sweet! My family and I always go to the one in Vegas (when we visit) and their drinks are not that sweet but enough sweet to enjoy it. A totally different menu than here in studios. The aesthetics are great. Great for IG photos but my god they aren't cheap.
