As of 4/18/24 this place is closed. ** DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION** even if it allows you to. If you're the owner and reading this, please close all reservations and update you're website so people like me don't make reservations online and travel 40 mins across LA just to be told by the valet there that you're closed (for remodeling or labor dispute). The phone number also doesn't take VM and has no mention that you're closed.

Temporarily closed as of Sunday 4/14/24. No reason given no resume date. We were wondering why the wait was "less than 5 minutes" despite reviews saying wait can be 1/2-1.5hr long

Closed for a few weeks of renovation, as of yesterday. They referred us to their sister locations - Here Fishy Fishy - but we're excited to come back once they reopen.

I used to go this place with the name hello fish often and visited again and now name changed to The sushi. And ordered all you can eat dinner. And the quality got changed too much. Fish itself is so thin on the rice. Couldn't eat much of it because it doesn't taste good and they charge $3 for leftovers. and here comes worse part that right after eating them I had to go bathroom and again and again. Please don't go this place ever.

I used to come here every other week! But not anymore!!! Merry, who is the manager - she doesn't know ? what is customer service to be honest. I understand that the owner out of country, but it's not a reason to be rude and not responsible! She even answer on my question "WHY IS THE AIR CONDITIONER DON'T WORK?" She said even ? She spent money on that))) And it doesn't work till today. Sad ? FOR COUPLE YEARS I'VE BEEN HERE AND ALWAYS THINK ? IT'S A GOOD PLACE, BUT FOR LAST DAY ... TILL TODAY. Bye ?

Great variety and selection of sushi! Definitely try the specials! Loud, vibey music playing if that's what you are into. Be ready to talk loudly to hear each other.

One of my favorite all you can eat ayce sushi joint that are accessible within the downtown LA or Koreatown area. For dinner, each person will cost $48 which is a reasonable price when compared to most other ayce sushi places. This joint is one of my favorites because of its experimental styles with the basic nigiri that you get and for the late night ambience and vibes. There are several TVs lining the walls of music videos on play and fun, neon signs and decorations that line the ceiling and interior. The servers are very enthusiastic and friendly. I love starting my night with their specialty menu which explodes in your mouth with such bombastic flavors and fun presentations. When ordering nigiri, I always choose the spiced up options, such as the lemon or garlic salmon and the paprika albacore, etc. Depending on the night, their fish will vary in freshness and quality. However, for the most part it's pretty decent. I primarily find their combinations to be unique in their value and ones I haven't really seen in an ayce before. For all you can eat, they do not provide sashimi. They're usually pretty busy so the wait time ranges from around 30 minutes to an hour or 1.5 hours. The parking is pretty tight with valet as $4. Honestly, this plaza complex has pretty fire restaurants such as the all you can eat barbecue place across or the boba/hookah lounge next door. I recommend and can't wait to come back and experience the flavors again.

The sushi is fresh, good service, & the waitress are all nice. I love that we can order half rolls. My favorite AYCE sushi in Koreatown

Great fun atmosphere. The waitresses were super cool, very attentive and so helpful. The sushi was good, but with the "all you can eat" menu, I thought that the fish slices were a little on the thin side compared to the amount of rice. However the flavors were great and the sushi chef that served me was outstanding with his service and the presentation.

The sushi looked better than it tasted. The quality wasn't there but I guess that's to be expected with all you can eat sushi restaurants. Service was horrendously slow.

My first visit to a late night all you can eat sushi. The appetizers are the best part of the menu. Staff was helpful and very nice and accommodating. I would not recommend the calamari. Rolls are average but prepared fresh. Not a huge fan of sauces on my sushi rolls and they have a white sweet sauce they call yum yum.

This place is a vibe. The fish were fresh and the presentation was amazing. I really liked the sauces they had with some of the sushi. They were very flavorful and complemented the fish well. Unfortunately, the AYCE does not include sashimi. However, the specials definitely made up for it. Also, the service was phenomenal! The food came out really quickly and the empty plates were picked up right away. The staff were super helpful and definitely looked out for us when we ordered too much near the end. Soju cocktail

We had an amazing time. The food and service was great. The quality of the food was super fresh and it's a perfect place to celebrate any occasion.

this place is racist. we are mexican and there was a table with black people next to us and they took forever serving us, even though we paid for AYCE. never coming again.

After eating here I got really sick for 4 days, I almost never get sick from food poisoning. I didn't enjoy the meal bc I wasn't able to see the true color or quality of the fish due to neon green and neon pink flashing lights all night, and my eyes were tired afterwards. Tuna was the worst I've ever had, it was so fishy, I had to spit it out. The idea of the sushi stairs was nice, but that's the only thing I liked and other places offered similar ideas. Service was friendly. The menu and the floor were sticky, not sure how others could rate it 5 stars, I wouldn't recommend this one.
