Horrible experience. Ok so I ordered Hibachi Papi and had it delivered to me via Uber eats at my job. It took the Uber eats driver what felt like eons to find me because she didn’t speak English. After several frustrating phone calls, she finally found me. I then got the food just to find out that there were NO utensils in the bag! Since I was working, I literally had no way of getting utensils. Long story short, hibachi papi made me eat my food with my hands. The food itself was below average, but who knows, that could’ve been because I was eating with my HANDS.

Ordered through group order 1st time food was wonderful. Second time they just sent what they wanted. I ordered filet and shrimp fried rice I got chicken and shrimp. I don't eat chicken. Other co workers order wasn't there at all. Check your orders before sending out your not cheap

Awesome steak and rice bowls. High quality meat and excellent flavor. Beats Benihana hands down. 5 STaRKid-friendliness: I often ask them to cut steak smaller for my kids and they are happy to do it. It’s also very affordable. I try to tip 20% every time beside I feel the quality and service is top notch

This last time, our meats were overcooked. I wish they were more consistent. Especially bc they're close to the VA hospital.

Good variety of veggies. Decent amount of protein. Chicken was lean and flavorful, not fatty. Would be better with less sauce on veggies.

Fire for sure.. I've tried all the Hibachí spots in LA and this one is definitely my favorite. The prices were a bit high but once I received my plate I immediately understood why, the quality & portions were all there! They also let me know they're redesigning their menu with some lower priced options so I'm stoked on that and will definitely be back for more!

The chicken + fried rice bowl is good until a few hours after. Not the worst food poisoning I've ever had, but would not recommend unless you have pepto bismol in stock.

It’s an animal crematorium.

Hibachi Papi is cool little spot in Westwood and has good decent vibe too it. The service is pretty good and fast for how busy it can be especially on game days because there one of the few who stays open late. The is definitely not a eat everyday type of place becuse of the pricing it can be a bit pricey.I got the shrimp and chicken combo plate with garlic noodles yum yum sauce and Diablo sauce. The shrimp was cooked well and had decent flavor too it but the problem with ordering any type of shrimp is the portions it always feels like you get to little and kind of felt that way. The chicken was sliced and diced into nice good pieces but it could have been seasoned a bit more but still good chicken. The garlic noodles were really good I enjoyed them alot it was probably my personal favorite part good seasoning good texture very solid. The yum yum sauce was really good tons if flavor but the Diablo sauce was not very hot and it was saucy more like a paste good experience would like try other things though. .5/5

Someone recommended this place, so we headed there after a ball game. The parking lot is right next to the location. Casual environment in Westwood. We had a party of 6. You choose your protein(s), then rice or noodles and veggies if you order a platter. The food is all made fresh to order. Within our party, we ordered avariation of steak, salmon, chicken, and shrimp. We also had a selection of sauces on the side. Everything was so flavorful! No additional seasoning was needed. Good portion size. Very pleased with the taste! This will definitely be on our "must come back" list!

Very impressed with this steak bowl. The bowl comes with a generous serving of marinated steak. You can get varieties of rice (fried, white, brown) or garlic noodles. You can also mix the carbs. My go-to is the steak bowl, garlic noodles, veggies. Add some fresh squeezed lemon on top and indulge. Not the healthiest but it will satisfy your meat and carb cravings!
