Firefighter friend of mine and myself, someone who taught and trained firefighters showed up but the bartender kept ignoring us. Attended everyone else but us..until we got closer and closer until he didnt have a choice. We waited for about 20 min (which is fine because it seemed a bit busy) while we called him several times, not once did he ask for ANYONES ID but decided to ask for ours....tall long haired sir, something wrong with our skin not matching yours?

I did a 5k with #homeboy industries and walked by this place and decided to finish walk and came right back for breakfast. I shared a breakfast with my sister and we each had a Michilada. the food and beers were great! I will definitely come back on Friday after work for happy hour.

My favorite bar in HLP.

Yuppie gentrified bartenders that ignore you unless you're the right color.I came to this place on the weekend around 4pm. Everything was going great. My friend kept going up uto get drinks on my card. She was attended quickly. Once I was ready to close my tab I went up to the bar.I was standing waiting for these tall hipster to attend to me. Cool. I understand other ppl need to be serviced before me, but when the person that got to the bar before me, after she puts in her order, she gets asked again if she needed service by another yuppie hipster bartender. It took this lady to point out that I was there waiting.I really felt uneasy and unwanted at this place. If you're white I could see how this place would be 5 stars. But for a poc bring your white friends to order for you. So sad they gentrify our areas than treat us like second class citizens.

Great beer, great food, great vibe

Super Friendly Bartenders. Quick service, even on a busy day. Clean environment & dog friendly. We had a great time.

This is my second review I love this place. I love the prices. The fresh food. The live music. I have had a few mess up by new waiters or waitresses not customizing my orders. But other than that I love it. Specially the morning buffet.

The stars on here come mostly from the incredible view! We were going to eat at the cliff house, but this place was easy to get into, had a great sunset view, and the food was pretty good.

I am a sf native and I never write reviews but had such a great time I have to! My family is visiting from england and they made them feel right at home. The food was delicious, the manager was on point. Her staff loves her and you can tell by the service. Awesone Easter!

This HPB is located within The Hermosillo bar! Came here for the first time last night (01/03/2020)....Great vibe - divey feel... Good selection of beers on tap (Highland Park Brewery & others)... Friendly bartenders! Pretzel & potato chip brownie was YUMMY!! Great place to start convos with fellow bar strangers - will definitely be back!Try the nitro oatmeal stout with the brownie! ;) You're welcome!
