I went into this cafe thinking it was exclusively bakery and espresso not knowing that it's literally a full on restaurant brunch spot!!! I will definitely be returning to try some food menu items but the lattes I ordered were more than just a glimpse into what the staff at highly likely are capable of!!! Veryyyy aesthetically pleasing! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating!

Be careful here if you're a vegan! If you're vegan and come here, be sure to be very very vigilant here. I came here for brunch and ordered the falafel plate and asked them to make it vegan. I know the cashier heard me because I ordered for someone else and made sure to say "make everything vegan please". Of course, my plate was the only plate that wasn't vegan. I get my plate and don't question that it's not vegan. My falafel plate came with falafel, a side salad, a green sauce, a yogurt tahini sauce and 2 very dry pieces of bread with butter. I assumed the yogurt sauce was vegan since vegan yogurt does exist and same with the butter on the bread. Well, about 2 hours later I realized my food was not vegan because my stomach became very ill. I was craving falafel so I came back 2 weeks later and got the same thing. Made sure the cashier made it vegan. The vegan version of the falafel plate comes with pita bread, not the dry bread with butter they gave me before, and just the green sauce and of course the side salad. Even if you're not vegan and get the falafel plate, I recommend asking for the pita bread instead of the bread that comes with the meal. That bread is very dry and honestly doesn't even go with the plate. Strange choice to not have the falafel plate come with pita bread regularly.

Such a great spot in the area, with delicious food and drink, a great interior, and fair prices. We started with the Crispy Brussels which were solid. The Calabrian Miso Lumache was probably the best dish of the night, with such an interesting tangy and umami flavor. For the mains, we got the Seedy Schnitzel which was huge in size, and pretty standard. The Steak was tasty as well but much smaller in comparison. Overall, everything was generally delicious. My only qualm is the service which, although not rude, felt minimal and a bit unfriendly.

The breakfast burrito is incredible. The coffee is great. The bar and the stools look so rad. Really great design all around. Great for bigger parties or just a solo laptop hang. Service is pretty fast, even when they get busy. Big thumbs up for the amount of sky lights they have, love the raw wood with the bubble glass(?), again the bar area looks so rad as hell.

My friend recommended this spot to me, and the coffee is good, however the service today made me feel unwelcome. The cashier grabbed the top of my straw without washing hands after handling cash, so i asked her to watch out where she was touching the straws. I walked away after receiving my drink and she began mocking me to the other person behind the counter without even waiting for me to leave. Can’t recommend the service, since the cashiers don’t seem to receive food handlers or courtesy training.

Fun place in highland park area of Los Angeles. Creative drink menu. Adobo style short ribs special was yummy. Good vegetarian and gluten free options. Make a reservation to avoid a wait on weekends.

We went to the original location, Odds are Very Favorable, but we liked this location more. Ben our server was very gracious, service was excellent. Restaurant is a vibe, beautiful atmosphere. Breakfast or dinner, I would recommend. Great for coffee and a bigger meal.

Quite possibly the worst tuna sandwich I've ever had. The front kiosk girls were super unfriendly.

I saw this place on TikTok and decided to give it a try since it was only a 10 min commute from my place. I went on a Sunday afternoon. There was a lot of people in and out, so I was hopeful. The food was good. The service was not so good. The person at the kiosk was awkwardly staring at us and not friendly at all. I felt the need to hurry up and order because they just looked so unamused to be working. I awkwardly mentioned how it was my first time and they didn't seem to care to explain how anything worked or recommend anything. I didn't mind the self seating but it made the service even more horrible. No one ever came by besides to drop off the food. I went inside to ask for a to go box and it seemed everyone at the kiosk/coffee making area did not want to look around haha. All in all, this place has potential, but with these new places I would expect a little more friendliness...

The ambiance and interior design are amazing, the staff is friendly, and the coffee is delish, but the food is a bit of a letdown. I had high expectations. I've tried the Crispy Hippie and the tuna melt on separate occasions, and both times, I expected a bit more. I think I'll go back and give the Kyoto Bowl a try. Fingers crossed. Really want to love this place.

We had the gigante beans, the miso pasta, and the brussel sprouts - outstanding flavor and textures. Vegan friendly. Service was prompt, charismatic, and great thank

Really digging this new spot in the neighborhood. It’s the most unique and interesting spot to open up around all the other generic places you see coming up on fig (Mendocino farms, le labo, etc. - barf!). The food is classic with a little twist here and there. The drinks are divine. My one call out is the service. I call it “pass the baton” syndrome. Been here for brekkie where you order at the counter and that experience was lovely. Dinner was another story. I found the host didn’t want to take ownership of their role and get people to their seats. Second, the server was delightful and pleasant but not all that attentive. I understand giving people their space but a quick check in before and after every dish would be a better model. Overall I will continue to come here and support a local LA business. They’re brand new so there is always room for growth and improvement. Keep up the good work!
