This place is a cute little cafe where you can go to do your work, like at Starbucks. The staff is so nice, helpful and welcoming.I've only had the pastries, the coffee and the soul bow breakfast, but they were all very good! I really love my grits and that soul bowl hit me right where I wanted it to... and those collard greens Mmmm! Thank you. I'll be back

Bangin' Breakfast Burrito w bacon and avo are a solid 8.7/10 but the value is questionable. The tator tots w spicy mayo are a 9.2/10 and are an absolute must!

Hilltop is just a few blocks from me- very convenient. The service staff/ cashier was also the barista who was very friendly. He was also the one who delivered my food. I ordered an amazing Chai and the Buenas Dias bowl. Delicious! Ambiance- was impeccably clean with many tables and chairs available

Good selection is yummy. The vibe is right. Enough seating but can pack up quickly depending on the house.

My food delivery came quickly, I got the grits soul bowl. I did not know the collard greens would be sweet. Thought it was gross to have well seasoned grits with super sweet almost inedible collard greens and then eggs. Wish they had been savory collard greens would have made all the difference. The turmeric tonic is good tho so I kept it at 4 stars and might try a different entree sometime.

Loved their coffee and sandwich on my trip from the valley to the city. Coffee is really great, I would come back if I'm in the area and have some time. Lovely coffee shop, seems like a good place to grab a bit on your own, with a friend or to work on some stuff. Service was good too, they can make some changes in the sandwich if needed and they brought it to my table which was nice.

My favorite coffee in LA, the Lavender latte with some extra lavender is literally perfect. I would drink that all day everyday if I could afford it. The food is good too. I usually build my ideal breakfast plate from the side offerings. Great atmosphere too, really love the baristas here and how knowledgable they are this place is always giving 10/10.

Ordered through Uber Eats. The cold brew tasted like they used potted soil instead of coffee grounds. The rose latte tasted like sweet potatoes. The Chilli had too many spices in it. I'm not sure I will be back again.

The folks that work here are so friendly. I've had the breakfast burrito 3x. Two times it was Heaven but once it was just ok. I will be back!

The match lemonade is a must have! I can't stop thinking about this drank!! Add some Ta killa or vodka and we are friends fo life! ! The chicken sandwich was a delightful surprise. It wasn't really buffalo but more like a honey spicy chicken sandwich. Either way, I loved it and I'm sure will too. My bestie had the breakfast burrito and she said it was filling and satisfying.

This is just about the food since I had it delivered. Ordered a salmon toast w egg on it and the whole thing tasted like a salted lemon. You couldn't taste the salmon or the egg, both of which tend to be strong flavors. Just salt and lemon. And the quality of the salmon is poor. For $20 this is highway robbery. Won't be ordering again.

Decor: Amazing urban feel with great vibes and music and the space is huge for conducting meetings and catching up with friends, doing homework , business meet ups. This is better than Starbucks!Food: Omgoodness the food is amazing! They actual cook food nor just warming stuff up in microwaves !Drinks: Lemonade and the eggnog latte was delicious Customer Service: 20/10 very friendly and took time to go over the menu with me and gave me suggestions. They have several locations : this is from the Downtown Los Angeles location. They have merch available as well.Parking: It's downtown la which sucks but you can find parking close by for $15

I had an exceptional experience with the staff at this establishment. Despite my hectic work schedule, they went above and beyond to remake my pickup order, ensuring I didn't miss out on the delicious food. Their understanding and helpfulness made a significant difference, and I truly appreciate their outstanding customer service. Thank you for accommodating my situation and providing such a positive experience!

Was excited to try this place so I decided to grab a quick flat white on my lunch break. I was very disappointed when I got my coffee. The cup was more than half empty. I didn't have enough time to go back as I had to get to work, but was so disappointed.
