Just came to this place for the first time
I order a spicy chicken sandwich and it was pretty busy around 6:45 got my food at 7:25 i kept putting mins on the meter outside
Spicy chicken sandwich wanst spicy quality was good and fries where not seasoned as much i wanted but for a busy line the food is a decent 6/10 out of all chicken spots out there i rank it an 6 if you want something good daves hot chicken is the spot this one aint it total was $15.86 for a chicken sandwich fries and a drink
Biggest problem i had was Service called my order and left it in the counter and I noticed i left my drink they didn't bother to tell me anything just came back and grab idk this place feels unwelcome for some odd reason you have to go to experience what i had
You will see lol
Guy behind the counter was an old asian men
Back staff actually looked nice šŸ‘šŸ½

If you are in this area and looking for some great food this is the place. The chicken strips are amazing. If not the best then close to the best, we all agree. Service was great

Delicious chicken, so crispy but not gross and oily. lovely staff, sort of stiff prices but the portions make up for it. great for nearby occidental students.

Holdaak Fried Chicken is a great spot for Korean-style fried chicken lovers. The chicken is crispy and flavorful, and the Seoul Spicy Chicken Sandwich is a must-try. The daikon slaw adds a nice fresh crunch, and the fries are perfectly cooked. The staff is friendly, though service can be a bit slow during busy times. Overall, a tasty and satisfying experience.

Holdaak Fried Chicken in Highland Park is a must-try for anyone craving Korean-style fried chicken. Their Seoul Spicy Chicken Sandwich is a standout—crispy, juicy, and perfectly balanced with daikon slaw and comeback sauce. The daikon slaw adds a tangy crunch that complements the spicy chicken. The crinkle-cut fries stay crispy even when delivered, which is impressive. The staff is friendly and the service is quick, making it a great spot for a satisfying meal.

I never write reviews but this place is so good I’m a regular at this point. Always friendly and nice customer service. Their food is just delicious. Chicken is always crispy yet juicy and the flavors are amazing. Also unique to their chicken sandwiches is the daikon slaw (optional of course) which adds a really refreshing flavor/texture. Their fries are top tier, always perfectly crispy and it’s fire with their ā€œcomebackā€ sauce.

Underrated too is their milk tea/boba. Can’t speak to the almond milk tea b/c I haven’t tried it but the regular milk tea’s flavor is great. Sweet but not too sweet. The boba itself always has the right texture and is sweet too (hate when boba is bland).

Really recommend this place!

This review is just for Almond Haus drinks and NOT for the chicken.

I have been a long time Almond Haus fan and was excited to see one pop up in the area. The classic Almond Milk Tea was terrible. It was very clearly made with artificial syrup and only had 1 almond item on the menu. Can you even call this an Almond Haus location? Do not come here for the Almond Haus menu.

The best fried chicken I've had. All white meat and huge pieces. As for Isaac, he is great.

We got the chicken teriyaki bowl with rice and noodles. Good deal. The restaurant could be a little cleaner.
