HOLEY CRAP these are incredible donuts. Who knew the Hawaiian superfood taro could be so delicious? I will most definitely be coming back here for more, even their basic donut offering, the “hot single” is to die for. All donuts are fresh made to order, highly recommend eating them hot. The flavors are orgasmic.

We stumbled upon this by accident and I don’t know if I’ve ever been so glad to stumble upon anything ever. You need to be prepared for a wait as every donut is made to order and that’s why when you get them they are still hot from the fryer, which is OMG GOOD. Even though there are other donut shops I like in LA, their styles are very different and if I was forced to choose just one this might now be my favorite. Make sure you try the Lilikoi with passionfruit and the original. I love that they have different flavors all the time!

Ok so you need to try these donuts. They are the perfect size, they don’t make you feel terrible, and they’re plant based! My favorite ones are Ricky Martinez and the coconut Hawaiian (?) one. The only difference is that this location does not have seating so I prefer the Santa Monica one a little more. But larchmont is a wonderful place to walk around, so grab a donut and a coffee and take a stroll!

Made to order. Healthy-ish. Delicious.
I like that they cook them in coconut oil, not the absolute healthiest oil for frying, but it definitely makes a huge difference in flavor and texture.
Same goes for the taro root flour, which is naturally gluten-free and a good source of dietary fiber.
That said, they’re not quite as good when ordered to-go. The texture kind of loses its magic by the time you eat them at home. But I guess that’s the price you pay for a fresh, preservative-free donut.
It’s actually became a weekly ritual for me (sometimes even multiple times a week) to treat myself with a holey donut while on a walk or meeting friends for coffee.
If you’re reading this, you should definitely give them a try.
My current favorites: Hail Mary, Miso Honey, Reincarnated, and Pandan Paradise.

That was one of the best vegan donuts of my life!!! Made fresh - crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. I’d eat it even without the glaze! I got the original sin and it was an out of body experience🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Wait genius idea. So delicious. Didn’t realize they were made to order and it was the best donut ever maybe .
Not too sweet—just right. These donuts are fresh, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. I especially love that they use taro as the base it gives the donuts a subtle earthy flavor and naturally soft texture that makes them stand out from the usual. The variety of flavors is thoughtfully curated, so there’s something for everyone depending on your mood or craving. My favorite was the chocolate crunch, perfectly crispy on the outside, rich and satisfying inside. Will definitely be back for more!
Crisp exterior and soft on inside. The taro really makes this unique. The basic was probably our favorite with the honey and the salt.
For the craftsmanship and freshness, it’s worth the money. But definitely a hefty price to value equation.

Hawaiian Chai was so good and the donuts are delicious!
These donuts were so fresh and warm and flavorful. I’ve never had a better donut.
Absolutely incredible donuts made fresh right when you order. The flavors are unique and delicious. Highly recommend!
I walked past a donut shop boldly calling itself Holey Grail — cute, right? I always chuckled at the name but never dared to investigate… until today. Armed with an empty stomach and low expectations (because, let’s be real, most “artisan” donuts are just overpriced circles with lavender dust), I stepped inside.
And BABY — I was not ready.
First shocker: these donuts are made fresh to order. Like, frying right in front of me, frosting still warm, and my taste buds pre-sobbing in anticipation. I legit had a Homer Simpson moment — eyes wide, soul leaving my body, drool fully activated.
Then came the presentation. These donuts didn’t arrive in a bag. Oh no. They came in a box that screamed “you’re about to experience something spiritual.” I bit into the coconut one… and my years of hating bougie donuts evaporated in an instant. Fresh, hot, crispy, chewy, flavor-packed perfection. I think I heard a choir.
Listen, I’ve been changed. Transcended. Donut-nized. Whatever this is — it’s not just a snack, it’s a revelation.
Fresh made to order, flavors read better than they taste. Tiny and expensive
