Loved the vibe. The food was so so so good. Best Thai food I've ever had. Service was quick and staff were friendly!

It was *fine*. I don't think I'd try it again. It's not cheap, portions are small and to be frank, it was boring without much flavor. I ordered Pad Kee Mao with waygu beef and Pad See Ew with tofu. The waygu beef is just plain minced beef - no seasoning, marinade, etc. whatsoever so it tastes like... nothing. I love Pad Kee Mao and it's my go to dish at Thai restaurants so I've had it often. This one just didn't have any flavor. The Pad See Ew was similar - lacking flavor. You'd really have to doctor these up to make them interesting and worth eating. On the plus side, they packaged my to-go order well.

Kind of let down to be honest. The shrimp pad Thai wasn't fresh. The shrimp smelled fishy and tasted old. The pad Thai wasn't anything you couldn't find anywhere else. If you want a basic pad Thai then this will be for you. I was hoping for something unique and special.

My favorite Thai spot in LA! Let's go holy basil! Can't wait for more experiences here!

Ordered the green chicken curry. The curry was watery and the chicken was pink in the center. A big no no no. See pic. Good thing our hotel room had a microwave. Used it to finish cooking the chicken.

Quality of food was ok but it didn’t feel like a good return of investment; considering the high price point hereStaff was nice!

customer service is trash. even if you show up in person no one will take your order. you can't order food without downloading their specific app and doing it on your phone. And the attitudes of the employees . The food is fine butDo not come here if you respect yourself.

Food is pretty good but the portions aren't really worth the price. I could've eaten two of my meals for the $20+ cost. I order to-go, maybe they're bigger if you eat at the restaurant? They only filled about a third of my small to-go box.

$21 dollars for this, what a rip off. Never come here. If you wanna throw your money away. You can get twice the food for the same quality at any other Thai place.

Holy Basil is instant comfort that teleports you home. The dishes are flawlessly executed and the flavors are consistently on point. The vibe of this hidden gem reminds you of your family’s kitchen and I feel like a kid again full of excitement from the escaping aromas. I lean heavy into firing the menu family style and always look forward to memorable meals shared. Their take out withstands LA traffic to the far away land of Santa Monica. Service is hands down the friendliest in town.

Okay, it's hectic here. Ordering at the window takes a while because they're slow to notice you. The place is loud, parking is weird and a little sketchy, and it's literally a block from Skid Row so lingering outside isn't always great.However.Everything we ate was delicious - exactly the right spice level to satisfy all of our palates, excellent balance of seasonings, fresh veggies and revelatory sauces, and addictive broth and fried pork.My green curry was wonderfully flavorful with tender chicken and fresh veggies, my friend's tom yum goong with noodles was gorgeously fragrant, her hubby's moo krob slab was crunchy perfection...but it was the eggplant & kabocha squash that blew us all away with its fiery sauce. I cannot stop thinking about it, and will crave it daily until I can have it again.Definitely trying the Atwater Village location next!

Taste is mediocre for Thai food, and a little pricey. The food did taste fresh which was a plus.

Annoying and aloof staff. Kept forgetting our order and then came back to charge us after we already paid. They also were unsure of when they were opening when they listed a certain time on their website. Also not worth the price.
