Visited Homage Brewing on a Thursday night.Ambience:I decided to head down over in order to get a feel for the type of environment Homage brewery presents and to try out the smashed burger. Since I’m seeking out different places to invite friends for nights out. As mentioned by other reviewers, yes this brewery is directed towards a hipster crowd. Homage Brewings interior is minimalistic and upon entering, the interior was lit with red lights complimented with a DJ bumping music. The employees were friendly and attentive, furthermore, food service was excellent. The cool thing about this place is that the exterior seating area serves as a place where one can hang out and relax, while downing a couple drinks. The interior (for weekends) serves as a platform to vibe with the music provided by the DJ.Food & Beverages:I was honestly surprised when I glanced over the beer menu, no flight option present. As a brewery, a flight option should be available, since it helps customers explore different products. I opted out, as I was driving ( and saving my appetite for when I return) but my partner had some wines which she enjoyed.I decided to order their smashed burger, which came with two Pattie’s, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, everything sauce, and potato buns. The burger was good, as it was fresh, a good sized portion, and flavorful. There’s a review out there complaining about the Crispy farm potatoes fish scent, let me explain that the fish scent comes from the Mullet borttaga, a type of roe. Therefore, that review is not credible. The crispy potatoes were crunchy, well seasoned, and soft in the interior. A small dip of the horseradish sauce will be suffice. The food was good and hoping to try out other menu items in the future, in addition to their beers.

Great burger, good selection despite the short menu, good beer too. Interiors were nice too and they had great service.

Came here for a friends birthday. Lost my wallet but had photo of both passport and ID. I’m 37 and they refused to serve me. Fair enough but then they told the entire birthday table they couldn’t serve them anymore because I was sitting at the table. Manager seems to have personal issues or something. Had a bad attitude and seemed to have personal issues with me. Literally half the table didn’t get carded when being served by the other servers. It’s honestly a joke. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Great place to chill and hangout with friends. Ordered the focaccia sandwich; it's a vegan sandwich that had king oyster mushrooms. The sandwich was flavorful and appetizing. The bread they used for the sandwich was from Bub & Grandma's.

This place is trash. Looks like it could be great, but the vibes are awful, the staff is rude, & more than 2/3 of the menu is crossed out/not currently available.

One of the favorite breweries / beers spots among my beer loving friends. Probably gained more popularity from their sours, but they make a variety of styles really well. Seeing the dark beers or stouts seem to be more rare here though. They always seem to have delicious, beautiful looking food available (per some of the posts I've seen on IG). Most recently, I came here for Oktoberfest celebration and they had some themed food items to order to go along with the beer. The service is always friendly and efficient. Ambiance is always lively and they tend to play the music I grew up with (New Order and some other new wave faves). One of my friends helps supply some of the fruit for some of their beers as well. The outside of the building seems to be a European style/ look or at least the pictures I've seen from some Belgium spots (I've never been). The inside is deceptively large because you walk through and back into and open area. I've never been, but I think they have an upstairs area as well. Overall, I think this is a fantastic place for hard core and casual beer lovers alike.

Phenomenal atmosphere and great people! I tried the Wave and the Tisteza which were both great ?They have a cool DJ setup with old school speakers and also a disco ball. ??

This was the second stop on my two-stop self-guided brewery tour of Chinatown last month, when I realized that the new blue line now goes straight there. It's a cute enough space (also, importantly, *enough* space), and the people there were friendly enough, but I was sad to discover that their price setup only allows each beer to be served in a single (full pour) size ($8-9 for 12 or 16 oz for the less fancy ones, $10 for 8 oz for the fancy ones) I'm happier when breweries have a flight option, or at least half-pours - though they do, at least, let you try a splash of up to three before getting a glass, so I still got to try 3/4 of their saisons, which seems like is what they're the most known for. Funny enough, I thought both of the fruitier, cheaper beers in their "spritz" series ($9 for 12 oz) were way tastier than the most expensive one I got to try a splash of (cofermented with Gewürztraminer, though it didn't taste overly like it had been), so I am definitely happy I got to try them rather than guessing. Anyway, I obviously can't speak to whether the beer menu looks totally different than a month ago, but as of a month ago, the blackberry/syrah "spritzy saison" was quite good, definitely good enough to spend $9 on a full pour. Other than their saisons, they didn't a have a *huge* number of styles represented, but I wouldn't have minded trying one or two others. I didn't need three full glasses of beer at that point, though, so I didn't. Overall, I'd say this is the sort of place that I'd definitely stop at if I were in the area and wanted a beer, but probably wouldn't go out of my way for.

Small brewery but gives off cute vibes. Not a place you would just talk to random people at, better if you bring your own group. The menu is just paper, gotta walk up and read it. They should put something on the wall instead.Pours were inconsistent which really rubbed me the wrong way. It was half head and half beer, I asked them to top it off and he just stared at me with a blank face lol...dude just fill it up a tad more.Bartenders did not seem thrilled or interested in much. Not even a smile, kinda strange, maybe they are underpaid?

Homage Brewing is a really cool spot. The ambiance is super cute. They have great music, a good vibe, and lots of indoor and outdoor seating.I gave this place 4 stars because the food wasn't great. The chicken wings tasted like they were old, and had a ton of paprika sprinkled on the top which tasted bizarre. We also got the fish tacos and the potatoes and they were just okay.I would totally recommend coming here just for the drinks and the vibes. They don't have a huge beer list, but if you like sour/sweet tasting beers/ciders, this is a good place for you! (The service was also just okay.)
