I picked this place because I wanted somewhere near the Greek Theatre, and this was the only one that popped up which took reservations. There is a caveat when the reservation is made that if the diner is going to be more than 10 minutes late, to notify the restaurant. I also received a text to that effect. We were 10 minutes early, and the hostess seemed annoyed. She asked if we wanted to sit indoors or out, and we said outdoors would be fine, as long as it was in the shade....

At first we were a little nervous pulling up. But we were pleasantly surprised. They had a very nice valet who greeted us. We had a very friendly server who took care of us. The food was really good. We stopped in for a bite to eat on our way to the Greek Theater.

Home Restaurant is a hidden gem tucked into a quiet corner of Los Feliz. The breakfast was fantastic, and the Bloody Marys are some of the best I’ve had—bold, spicy, and perfectly balanced. The outdoor seating under shady trees and umbrellas creates a cozy, country-like atmosphere that makes you forget you’re in the city. A very unique and relaxing brunch spot with great service and charm.
