The menu is fairly conservative with different cuts of meat and some side offerings.
I love their food, it always makes me feel good.
I had a nice evening, and they were very fast with my order, but they only accept cash!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Homeboy Diner, and it was a culinary journey like no other. This American food haven in Sacramento offers a menu that celebrates the flavors and diversity of American cuisine. From the juicy burgers to the perfectly cooked steaks, every dish showcased the chef's dedication to quality and taste. The ambiance was elegant yet relaxed, providing the ideal setting for a memorable meal. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of my dining experience was exceptional. Homeboy Diner is a true standout among Sacramento's dining scene.

Nestled inside City Hall in Los Angeles California. The sandwich was delicious and the staff was great.

The chicken salad has WAY too much of raw onions for a workplace cafe! Onion is the predominant taste. It's impossible to get through afternoon meetings if you eat this for lunch. You'll have onion breath all afternoon. It's usually spicy red raw onion and it's chopped up you can't really pick it out. I won't be making that mistake again. LOLTurkey sandwich was tasty, but the bottom bread gets soggy from the tomato. The last turkey sandwich was actually wet in one side (bread was mush).

$13 Cobb salad but NO SALAD DRESSING. I asked the cashier where is the salad dressing for the salad. He said it’s a small package inside the container. Now I’m home ready to eat by salad but I have no salad dressing ☹️
Fantastic. Thank the higher Power
I had heard about this place and the main location and wanted to stop by to load up on food before my train ride back home. I grabbed their veggie sandwich and had a nice chat with they folks there. Love their business and what they stand for!Pretty easy to find once you go up to the second floor of the City Hall building.

great staff, and i got a sandwich that was good
Their sandwiches are just LIFE. They are so mouthwatering that you won't even pay attention to the price.Stunned.
This is our favorite breakfast spot in town. Homeboy is so friendly and really, just makes me miss my grandma! :) The food is always fresh and hot, and the coffee is bottomless. The mugs are great, too - good old classic cafe mugs, we may have to ask to buy one next time we visit. There is usually a line on weekends, but they move people in quickly and the service doesn't feel rushed at all. We look forward to breakfast so much when weave Homeboy on the agenda!
Excellent sandwiches in a Homeboy Diner setting. Our turkey clubs with bacon and avocado were tasty on a yummy whole grain toast. After quite a wait at the table, we were finally greeted and taken care of.
Homeboy Diner in a quiet part of the neighborhood. We got our food to go. I got a Nutella crepe and an iced mocha. Total was around $20, which i thought was pricey considering how small the meal was and it was to-go. The coffee was good, though, and the crepe was ok. It tasted more like a dumpling with nutella. It was pretty plain with only a bit of whipped cream to accompany it.
