I go here regularly. Food is delicious. Ingredients do seem pretty fresh.
My favorites are : chicken taco and potato taco. The green sauce is pretty good as well. Quantity is also large enough.
Best part is the app through which you can order to avoid the long queues during lunch rush hour.

Edit Nov 2024: Quantity /size of potato taco has considerably reduced. Avoid it. No point in ordering that.

Love this simple but authentic taco place. Lots of healthy choices like egg whites or mushrooms instead of meat. The chips are very crunchy and the sauces are the best!

Tasty tacos, both breakfast and regular. I preferred the Don’t Mess With Texas burrito over all of the others I tried. The Tijuana Panther didn’t have enough queso in my opinion. They bring your food out but everything else is self-serve and cleanup.

The breakfast tacos I had were BOMB omg. Potato in a flour tortilla with cheese and bacon… DELICIOUS. Even the corn tortilla was fire. I got the blanco. I definitely will be back for these amazing tacos.

Went to try the queso bc we missed torchys, it's not bad but it's not that great either. The tacos are ok. The frozen margarita was good.

Got the trinity, pecos, and chorizo and they were all absolutely amazing! Delicious and fresh ingredients! Drip coffee and cookie milk coffee were also delicious. The cookie milk was not over sweeten was perfectly balanced

I couldn't resist the allure of the "I love breakfast tacos" sign at HomeState. What I experienced there exceeded all expectations. I opted for Rickey's favorite taco, the Blanco vegetarian, made with authentic organic eggs and shiitake mushrooms. I made a substitution, replacing Monterey Jack with potatoes, and it was truly delicious. Rickey, the cashier, recommended the Blanco, and now I understand why. HomeState boasts a lively, relaxed atmosphere and a diverse, energetic staff. The quality of the food far surpassed its price. Needless to say, I will definitely be returning.
