We stopped here after weeks of looking for places to eat on vacation that wouldn't make us sick. Totally recommend it. They're celiac-friendly. Their bread ingredients are the same as what I use at home. If they were in Vegas, we'd be there all the time.

Honey Hi is a gem tucked away in Echo Park, serving up fresh, health-focused food without sacrificing flavor. Everything on the menu is gluten-free, and most ingredients are sourced locally. I ordered the turmeric chicken bowl, and it blew me away — perfectly tender chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, sauerkraut, and a coconut curry sauce that tied everything together beautifully. The space is small but bright and cozy, with lots of plants and a chill vibe. Great for solo brunch or a low-key lunch with a friend. It’s a little pricey for casual fare, but you’re definitely paying for quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. Bonus points for having friendly staff who genuinely seem to enjoy working there.

Amazing gluten free bread made with really good ingredients. I got the breakfast sandwich and a loaf of bread and was pleasantly surprised with everything.

I picked up a DoorDash order from Honey Hi and was seriously impressed with the place. The staff was super friendly and had the order ready fast. The vibe is calm, clean, and stylish — and everything coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. The ingredients seemed really fresh and thoughtfully sourced. I definitely plan to come back as a customer — that miso bowl and lamb sandwich are calling my name!

Good fresh food but ends up being over 30 dollars a bowl for lunch. Not enough inside seating so you end up sitting at tiny outdoor tables on sunset blvd sidewalk. On top of that they charge EXTRA for hot sauce which is painful when you already overpaid. Also half the time my poached egg has the whites uncooked.

Amazing breakfast sandwich, I couldn't believe it was gluten free! As a person with celiac disease, I was stoked to find this place. It's awesome, I highly recommend and look forward to coming back

I’m OBSESSED with Honey Hi. I have a VERY severe gluten allergy (celiac disease) and not only have they never glutened me with cross contamination (because it’s a 100% gf kitchen), but their food is somehow delicious and extremely healthy. On days I want to splurge a bit more, I go for the breakfast bowl and add extra eggs and the lamb sausage. But on days I’m watching calories a bit more I get the community bowl and sub oil and vinegar for the tahini and add chicken, no avocado.

Ordered their Lamb Sandwich. It was very good tasting especially with the aioli sauce. but extremely expensive. Also not a fan of them charging an extra 50 cents for a cup of hot sauce. Don’t recommend sitting outside, the chairs are super uneven and a lot of smoke outside.

The food here is genuinely excellent; the thoughtful flavor combinations and food pairings clearly demonstrate the chef's expertise. However, the $20 sandwich I ordered felt pretty overpriced. Also, be aware that outdoor seating often comes with the smell of cigarette smoke, likely due to the high amount of hipsters in the area that think smoking is trendy. Despite these points, I'd recommend it for a worthwhile one time culinary experience if you're in the area.

No bathroom! Weird. Food was great and the staff was super friendly. Just pretty disappointed to be traveling and paying $40 for a sandwich and smoothie and not have a bathroom. Other than that is was great!

Visited first time with a friend. Tiny spot with no restrooms and outdoor/sidewalk/street seating. Not for those who are looking for that convenient, peaceful and fresh breakfast vibes😀
Ordered 2 coffees, a breakfast bowl and a breakfast sandwich and pancakes.
We made couple of bites and left half of the food on the table.
I would say overall palette was interesting but not balanced at all. The bowl, pancakes...
Paid around 80 dollars including a tip 🙄 A bit overpriced for the location, service and servings.
The staff was young, nice, smiling and cool but this will not make us to go back again 🙂🙂

I paid $30 for a salad and drink. And wasn't able to use a restroom. I'm 9 months pregnant and have severe sciatica. Not acceptable. The food was very tasty but you can't treat customers that way
