It's nice to take a break and hang out there, but the food isn't good, even though on paper it sounds enticing.Fish is cut so thinly it's not enjoyable. Rice was very clumped and stale, felt either too old or badly prepared. It's not crazy expensive, but compared to Kazunori nearby in Westwood, the food is strictly worse in every way.The wasabi they give you I think isn't actual wasabi either.

Delicious japanese place! We ordered the whole menu and everything was amazing. The cucumber salad simple but incredible. All the fish feels fresh. Good beer too.

Overpriced and underwhelming. This is a clear knock off of Kazu Nori, and very part of the experience reflects that. The rolls was a standard piece of sushi with a piece of nori underneath. The servers were not very friendly and the automatic 18% gratuity is

The baked blue crab hand roll was by far the best thing we had there. The albacore hand roll was great too. Not a fan of the scallop though. Extremely spicy and odd texture, given that I usually eat baked scallop and not raw. Overall good. Love the idea with the soy sauce droppers!

I wish I was able to give 0 stars. First time trying this place. Expensive and mediocre sushi. Staff is not friendly. The bartender automatically included a large tip without asking me first. Please avoid, there are better options available.

Concept was cool. Really liked the soy sauce in the dropper. But fish was unfortunately very fishy, especially for a Thursday afternoon, a day when fish markets are certainly open.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in a long time. From arrival this experience was a 0 star experience. Staff was not friendly or helpful, the wait time for everything was horrendous. We had to ask 4 times for a simple sparkling water. The food portions were incredibly small and unappetizing. Wanting to end this experience we requested the check 4 times, 1 st time we were shushed by one of the workers and told to wait, we waited requested again from the same server 5 mins later and was completely ignored. We proceeded to request the check from another worker and our request was ignored twice by this worker. It took me insisting the worker take my card to pay for the meal and the icing on the cake is they automatically include 19% gratuity, this must be due to the fact they know they wouldn't make any money off tips if it wasn't

My works office is right across the street of Avenue of the Stars so we walk over to the mall once in a while to grab a quick bite. This is the second time coming to HRB for some sushi and we love it here! Always great service and they have a quick kitchen as we get our food fairly quick for something that is made on the spot. We normally get the 6 piece omakase set which is so good! The ambiance is nice as it's located in the second floor of the mall and right in the beginning of the food court! I highly recommend checking this place out if you're at the Westfield Mall in Century City'

came in on a friday afternoon, wasn't busy. about 5 people TOTAL besides my party there. service was awful. from the get go that guy with the man bun (don't know how to describe him other then man bun whos lgbtq) ignored me. he was super pissed i asked to sit in the sun when it didn't inconvenience at all. i made it very clear i wanted to order initially and then order more. he went to every other party and asked how they're doing, but me. ignored me as i kept trying to get him to come over. eyecontact and all. eventually i almost just walked out after having one roll. what's so sad is the roll was super good! just man bun hippy doesn't know how to be a waiter. never had a worse encounter.

Honestly, rough. We got 5 hand rolls each, and the fish on every hand roll we got was very fishy. Spicy tuna here was absolutely WHACK, somehow dry?? Rice was cold, seemed like it had been sitting, and had a very odd taste to it. We took a bite of each roll, and were both uninterested in finishing our plates. We both left feeling like we may get sick, and chose to have popcorn for dinner rather than finish the meal. We came in around 7pm, what I would consider to be 'prime time' for dinner- and would especially assume that everything is fresh. In hindsight, we probably should have asked for our money back.

Upon sitting I wasn’t acknowledged despite the restaurant being slow. Once I finally got a menu and ordered my order was wrong. When I inquired Robert got defensive with an attitude he tried saying I wasn’t allowed to alter my combo. Although , I had already ordered and the server said nothing about the sort. The issue was resolved after going back and forth and quite honestly I couldn’t even eat after. A ruined experience when someone is raising their voice at you .I lost my appetite. Arguing with someone over a mistake I didn’t make . And , if I did what happened to customer service? Regardless this was an unpleasant time. Such a shame. 18 percent gratuity included in the bill for horrendous service.I appreciate the other server who apologized for his colleague. But, it’s still not enough.
