We've tried so many different dishes from Hugo's, and everything always tastes fresh & delicious. Carne Asada bowls are a fave, plus vegan options make it an ideal go-to for the whole fam (especially after sports!). Choices of beans & fresh sauces are also great. Churros are warm & tasty.

I don't understand what happened with the torta ahogada. I used to order it all the time when I lived in the area. Last two times I've ordered it wasn't dipped in the chipotle sauce like before . Am I ordering it wrong?

People need to stop complaining about the honey chipotle glaze on the torta. It’s what makes it so good. If you don’t like it go to literally any other place that does tortas without a glaze. It messes up ordering for the rest of us.

shrimp tacos are gone so am I! in my honest option that was the best thing this spot had going for itself! Other than that it's pricey no indoor seating! It's a so so taco place otherwise bigger menu but same quality as villa corona
I am celiac and hyper symptomatic to gluten and dairy. I did not get sick here after eating gluten free tacos, spicy chicken sandwich and churros. Everything was yummy except taco meat was a little dry.This place is awesome! I don’t have to worry or think about what I am going to order not to be sick.Price is somewhat higher end but I was very happy to find this place.
Everyone who works there is almost too stoned to function, but I still like the food!

Second time coming here and same experience. Super bland fish tacos (or should I say onion tacos as they topped the fish with a way too generous amount of onion) stale chips, flavorless tomatillo salsa, so disappointing. Hugo's Tacos in Studio City blew my mind with their Fish tacos, chips, salsas and chicken tacos, so sad the quality in both locations is so different.
