Overlooked and underrated. My 140lb senior dog followed a scent from blocks away to here specifically, then refused to leave, and I'm glad I went in to investigate myself. I might have missed this otherwise. Glad to have something like this nearby.

The bagel was not fresh, and trash from the upper balconies was falling onto my table.

Everything about this experience was amazing! I was looking for DTLA hidden gems and trust me this is a must! We got the oxtails and it was falling off the bone. So delicious!! The vibes of the restaurant and music was super inviting and the hospitality was even better. Definitley should check out this gem if in the area, and if not it’s worth the commute.

My low score because although the bakery items are fine, this is NOT a legitimate food restaurant.
They served me what was clearly inedible, old food that had been sitting there for god knows how long.
The rice was like bullets, the chicken was dried out like it sat on a counter overnight, I think that it is so unethical to serve food like this to people. Shame on them.

I threw away the whole thing and am out $30.

My friend and I were just walking to our dinner location and we spotted this bakery from across the street, she's like "have you ever been to that bakery?" I'm like not yet I'm new around here! She hadn't either . We were both pleasantly surprised! It's an amazing ? Carribean bakery! I had the chicken jamaican patty and she had beef she loved it and never tried jamaican beef Patty's I love them and Never had chicken ones and oOooh so flaky and delicious ? customer service on point they were incredibly sweet and helpful! Also yum the sweets we got a Tiramisu dessert but it was like a chocolate cake more consistency! I ate that all alone hahaha love me some chocolate desserts! Will be back again for sure ?

I had the oxtail, rice, and beans and it was delicious! The atmosphere is really chill too ??

Honest review: The oxtail is the best in LA. I’ve had oxtail at almost all Jamaican restaurants out here and this beats it by far. Reminds me of how it is in NY. If you want oxtail don’t go anywhere else plus it’s reasonably priced as compared to most Jamaican spots out here.

I got a bagel before and it was ok. I wasn’t a fan of the matcha. Overall I like the vibes here. It’s officially my new oxtail spot and I’m looking forward to trying the other Caribbean meals.

We placed our order and paid but then there was so much confusion about what we ordered. The manager/ owner asked us what we ordered. The cook asked the cashier what we ordered. The cashier didn’t know if it was to go or dine in. There was a lack of communication among staff and efficiency maybe? Staff was nice though and food tasted good but not quite worth the price imo.

The menu is slightly confusing where it says the sandwich is served with a side salad/ fresh baguette/ croissant. You only receive a sandwich. Unsure of what you would get if you ordered a salad- maybe just the tuna/ ham on a salad?

I had a combination plate of Curry goat and fry chicken and I have to same I was beyond impressed. The food was So good I had to take a plate to go. Now they have me coming back for more
