Definitely coming back for more cookies! šŸ˜„ My daughter and I had lunch yesterday, she went for the Classic Mac & Cheese, while I tried the best-selling Lobster Mac. It was absolutely amazing, and I just can’t get enough of it! Plus, for only $4.59, you can add a combo that includes a side item and a fountain drink, such a great deal! I’ll be back again, and next time, I’m bringing my friends. I’ve officially found my go-to spot!

Visiting Los Angeles for the first time, we took the @hoteljune concierge’s recommendation and stopped by I Heart Mac & Cheese to try their creamiest Lobster Mac & Cheese. We also ordered their famous Best of Both Worlds grilled cheese—absolute perfection! We loved it so much that we returned twice more, sampling different menu items until the day of our flight. One of the best highlights of our trip was indulging in true American comfort food!

The flatbread is absolutely delicious, so cheesy and spicy with the jalapeƱos I was able to add. This place has so much options that looks amazing. Along with the food the service was also amazing, very helpful staff and informative. If you love Mac and cheese you cannot go wrong with this spot!

Great mac and cheese, heavy, but such a cheat day splurge. Appreciate the fast service.

I ordered the vegan delight expecting it to look like the website menu photo ... nope. There may have been four or five mini pieces of broccoli. Nothing close to the menu photo which makes it look like a salad of sorts. Very disappointed. Overall, not satisfied with the experience and food for the cost. The staff was the best part of our visit.

DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. This place ought to be ashamed of themselves. I don’t even know how they’re in business, and I’m not joking nor am I aiming to be mean — I am so serious. The food here is disgusting. The Mac & Cheese tastes like it came from the frozen food aisle. I got the build your own Macaroni & Cheese with broccoli and chicken… literally three pieces of broccoli and virtually no chicken. The chicken I did find SWIMMING in water cheese SOUP was extremely thinly sliced. No way they grill the chicken in house. Then I got tater tots, which feels like a random side to have on the menu, and not only did they taste freezer burnt and like they were cooked in a microwave, there was zero salt or seasoning added.
The concept of this place is great, but that’s all it’s good for — dreams and imagination. Box mac & cheese would be better than whatever they call this atrocity.
They need to hire some real staff and chefs to help them figure out the recipe situation. I’d almost volunteer as tribute for free.
You know what would really elevate the food? Not just a whole new recipe, because that goes without saying, but if they put the pasta in an aluminum container, got a small oven of some sort, layered cheese in the middle and a generous amount on the top, then put it in the oven for a few minutes. That would give an actual macaroni & cheese experience.
As a matter of fact, Dear Owners of this establishment, please take a trip to Noodles & Company to see and TASTE how it’s done. Take notes and hit the drawing board if you want any chance of staying in business. Until then? Not another plate/bowl needs to be served to the public.

My son wanted to have his birthday lunch at I Heart Mac & Cheese. It was our first time. This is a franchise location and the owner was very friendly and helpful.

My husband ordered the short rib Philly mac & cheese with classic mac & cheese bacon jalapeƱo bites.

The birthday boy had a build your own grilled cheese on Sourdough with white cheddar, yellow cheddar, mozzarella, muenster, and pepperoni, with classic mac& cheese bites, and tater tots.

My younger son had build your own mac with pasta, cheese sauce, mojo pulled pork, white cheddar, Muenster, and bread crumbs.

I had the classic mac and cheesy broccoli.

The food was delicious. We were all happy. And, they serve Coke products. There are fountain and bottled options. Plus some kind of coffee machine.

Parking in the structure behind the building was easy and free.

Bonus, we happened to come in during happy hour (M-F 3-5), which my husband greatly appreciated and sealed the deal that we will be coming back.

We saw that there were gluten-free and vegan options. Even options for making more of a protein bowl.

I highly recommend you check this place out.

Pictures show short rib Philly with bacon jalapeƱo bites (minus some that he gave to share), and the classic mac with cheesy broccoli. Sorry, I didn't get good pics of the others.

Ordered a pickup order on their website that included :

Cookies
Lobster Truffle Mac & Cheese
Crispy Chicken Mac & Cheese
2 Flatbreads
Buffalo Mac & Cheese Bites

The cookies and flatbreads were amazing,

However we are going to move on to the mac and cheese. It was absolutely terrible, downright atrocious, worst mac and cheese ever for a total cost of $40, literal waste. The pasta was horrible, smelled horrible, cheese was insanely bad. Just use Kraft Mac & Cheese next time please.

Also the Cheese Bites were vomit inducing and tasted like a mush of a whole bunch of paper with water.

If this is how food is served regularly it’s honestly disappointing how bad the food quality is.
