Did not try the food but cocktails were much better than average, I was surprised because usually rooftop bars don't make much effort on food and drinks. You can see the hollywood sign from here and take pictures. Amazing views of the hills. Friendly bartenders.

I've been to New York and Washington, but this place is really the best.
They keep asking me if I'm okay and if I need anything.
It's even 100 times more delicious than the cocktail I had in Washington.
For those who want to stay in a hotel or experience a bit of DJing
Highly recommended for those who want to feel the atmosphere!!
The hotel even gave me a discount coupon :)
The hotel bedding is soft and the rooftop bar is discounted.
The menu is delicious, the cocktails are delicious, and the owner is a passionate man.
I really don't leave reviews very often, but they took care of the food themselves and even gave me a discount at the end, so they had a lot of sense ☺️
The atmosphere is awesome so come and join us!!
As for alcohol, I personally like tequila and IPA beer.
My brother and I each drank 2 tequila glasses haha.
Good good ? ? I’m leaving a review because I feel good.

The brunch deal and strawberry mimosas were an amazing deal! Gertran was an amazing server and bar tender. We wish the DJ stayed longer and can't wait til the sun is out, the decor is perfect for spring/summer
Bad food, we had the Valentines set menu Tomato soup needed less oil, more pepper, and bread on the side Crispy Ahi Tuna was unflavorful, puree was too sweet, and spinach wasn't sautéed. Tuna was dry also Dessert was solid but the tea biscuit was rock hard. Expensive drinks. Our server was great and checked on us constantly though.
Our waiter was very nice as was the host taking us to our table. AKI has a nice wine list but candidly it the short ribs didnlt even look like short ribs. They were bland, as were the sides. I am not a dessert person but since it was Valentin's Day I tried the whote chocolate dessert and it was very good.
Extremely rude. I experienced discrimination at this place. They didn't check our table even once while we were staying. No server, we were supposed to go ask the staff by ourselves. Right after sunset, it was cold and dark but they only turned on the lights and fire for the other table, not us. I felt like we were in a different restaurant from other tables. The manner was totally different and it was clearly discrimination. I've never expected such racism in LA. The food was very expensive but the quality was not good. It was the worst food throughout our trip. Only the atmosphere was okay.

The new Sunday brunch menu was delightful. I highly recommend it. The spinach gruyere quiche & small salad appetizer was delicious. So was the chicken & butternut squash potpie. The bread pudding was wickedly sweet & yummy. Plus, it is walking distance to The Pantages theatre. Perfect place to dine for a show.

Worst Thanksgiving experience ever. I was terribly disappointed in service, quality of food was poor and no one cared about hospitality. Don't eat here, especially for Thanksgiving.
Pretty decent rooftop restaurant. Priced as expected for the neighborhood and LA. Very convenient when you don't want to go out and grab food. Cocktails were really good.

The hotel and ambiance looked amazing! The hotel concierge smiled and said hello. I said I had a reservation at the restaurant. He smiled and gestured “right over there.” I had great expectations that soon went downhill. There was a host stand with no host. I looked at the menus at the bar. The bartender never said hello or asked if I wanted a seat. When I walked around to the dining area I told the server I had a reservation. He said “Oh. Anywhere.” I asked if he needed to check me in. He said “Oh. No.” So I wondered if I would even collect my Open Table points for making a seemingly unnecessary reservation... The Whipped Feta app and Jameson cocktail were delicious, so I was excited for the main course. The Mary's chx was dry and chewy and the lobster mashed seemed like just a scoop of lobster on top of mashed potatoes. I thought it'd have some decadent drawn butter in or on it... Not as exciting as the name and price allured. I didn't send it back b/c I didn't have time to wait for another as it was pre show; but I could barely finish the chx. I expected better service and fresher chx for not an extensive menu (4 entrees, 2 sandos, 2 salads) for this boutique restaurant and hotel combo.
Drinks were awesome, staff friendly & quick & food was great as well! We will be back for sure!
