Food was just OK but was reasonably priced. They had a jazz band which was a nice touch. The servers were friendly. May not be the place to go if you're a foodie but if you just want to have a decent meal at a reasonable price, hang out and listen to some good music in a cool environment I'd recommend it. 

We had a great time!! The food, ambiance and live jazz music made it a special anniversary dinner for us. Food tasted fresh and was seasoned very well and to our liking! The added bonus was the Happy Anniversary slice of cake they bought out to us at the end of our dinner.

Great spot. Love the food. Good service too. Very well priced. We went earlier than planned at 5 and restaurant was empty but picked up at the bar then the restaurant about 630-7

I came here for LA Dine week on July 25, 2025 and I was pleasantly surprised with the food and service. Our server was Enrique. I got the filet mignon entree. Initially it didn't look like a filet mignon that I'm used to, but when I ate it, it was just as tender as a filet mignon. The taste is not filet mignon that I am used to and it had more fat, but it was not salty and the truffle mashed potatoes was good with the steak. The sauce on the croquettes was very good. And deserts were good too. For a 3 course meal at $55, it was awesome. Plan to pay $20 for a drink. My beers were $10, my wine was $16 and my captain morgan on the rocks was $24.

was promised to sit next to the band but never happened, also charged the same card twice for the splitting bill, didn't like the seating was too bright for us

Loved the live jazz and the food was delicious. It also smelled lovely, as if scented candles were burning. Can't really be sure, but either way it was a great Valentine's day experience!

The food was scrumptious, we loved the 4 course meal, the service was amazing they even gave us 2 complementary mimosas. We are definitely going to come back for dinner again.

We had the best time at ALK! We loved the food, the ambiance and of course the service. Shoutout to Patrick, our server! Not a fan of jazz music though but it was alright. Would come back again.

Love this place, i had been to the rooftop for some event, but 1st time i check out the restaurant ALK, the space is modern and intimate, friendly servers, knowledgeable bartender. Food is the bomb!! best Octopus i have ever had, my GF had the filet mignon that was outstanding I highly recommend

Ate here during LA Restaurant Week and was very thrilled about my choice! All dishes were thoughtful and presented well. Fun environment, I would love to come back for one of the wine nights.

Ok Q is the best bartender ever! Way on point and chill, the sushi was fresh and yummy

Did not try the food but cocktails were much better than average, I was surprised because usually rooftop bars don't make much effort on food and drinks. You can see the hollywood sign from here and take pictures. Amazing views of the hills. Friendly bartenders.

I've been to New York and Washington, but this place is really the best.
They keep asking me if I'm okay and if I need anything.
It's even 100 times more delicious than the cocktail I had in Washington.
For those who want to stay in a hotel or experience a bit of DJing
Highly recommended for those who want to feel the atmosphere!!
The hotel even gave me a discount coupon :)
The hotel bedding is soft and the rooftop bar is discounted.
The menu is delicious, the cocktails are delicious, and the owner is a passionate man.
I really don't leave reviews very often, but they took care of the food themselves and even gave me a discount at the end, so they had a lot of sense ☺️
The atmosphere is awesome so come and join us!!
As for alcohol, I personally like tequila and IPA beer.
My brother and I each drank 2 tequila glasses haha.
