I like the food but servings are too small. Wish they would put more food inside the plate.

My wife and I celebrated our 28th Valentine’s together at Il Capriccio, and I cannot believe it took me over 30 years of living in Southern California to finally come here.
Because we usually do Saturday lunches with our kids, and this spot only opens in the evenings, it somehow stayed off our radar all these years. That turned out to be our loss.
This place feels like a hidden gem. The prices honestly feel frozen in time, like what I remember paying a decade ago for truly excellent pasta and pizza.
I am not a food critic, but I have eaten well, including trips to Italy. On one vacation, we even took a day trip from Rome to Naples just to try the Margherita pizza where it was born. I can genuinely say the Margherita here stands right up there with what I had in Naples. The crust, especially that last bite at the edge of the slice, was incredibly flavorful and satisfying.
The restaurant itself is on the smaller side. Tables are close together and it gets lively, but it never feels over the top. The staff is warm and welcoming. If you are expecting your food to appear instantly, that will not happen. You will wait a bit. But it is absolutely worth it.
We will definitely be back, and next time we are bringing the kids.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant family owned. My favorite dishes are their carbonara and their gnocchi yum. Love their house bread with olive oil and also their homemade Ricotta cheesecake is to die for. The service is impeccable Tiziana is amazing always so helpful and courteous really gives you the best guest experience. Oh they are dog friendly too that's a big plus in my book.

manger rude old man , tells customers they can’t sit beside each other , you can’t have a phone call inside he’ll kick you out . His way or “I’m the manager this is my restaurant I pick who to give customer service will tell you he doesn’t care if you’re a paying customer.
Staff is ok . food is ok . May be a racial thing he has not sure.

The food was really good and the place is quiet and enjoyable. We went there for dinner and had the nights special and pizza/pasta. All of them were cooked perfectly and very tasty. We also received complementary foccacia, which was very nice. The servers were kind and attentive and did their job perfectly. I really recommend this restaurant for a nice, quiet and good dinner and I will eat there again for sure.

I came for the cannolis and was initially impressed to see the shells were not yet filled. Making a cannoli to order is the only way to maintain the crispness of the shell - which are imported from the mother land!❤️
My real surprise was the filling - when I opened the box I saw there were orange specs in the creamy inner goodness, as well as the slightest overall orange hue to the creamy filling… because there was orange in this modern twist to my old favorite! And how wonderfully refreshing this dessert felt with bits of orange rind in this otherwise rich and sometimes too sweet dessert! My mum and I LOVED it! What a wonderful surprise to enjoy this modern, elevated cannoli! Now I want to know if they’re making other cannoli flavors! Highly, highly recommend! 👍👍

Went to go pick up my order on a Saturday night. Old lady waitress doesn't greet me. Instead, she rudely tells me where to go to pick up. Asked the girl at the counter about my order. She says 5 minutes. 5 minutes later, I come back again to check on the status of my order. She says it'll be another 5 minutes. I finally wait another half an hour for my order to be ready.
Do high-end restaurants typically hire braindead employees like that girl who doesn't know how to tell time? I don't understand why you couldn't just ask the chef how long it was gonna take and then give me an honest answer? Why are you wasting people's time like this?

Went there with my wife.
Staff was friendly
The carbonara I ordered was however the worst I ever ate as it tasted as if it has been cooked in used oil. One would think a nice italian restaurant can’t possibly make that type of dish wrong. Well they did that night.
I Didn’t care for the special not showing any prices and 20% tip forced on the bill. Especially since no one cared to ask if everything was allright. I should have returned the plate I think but was too hungry, and it was late, so I soldiered through it. But it sickened me to pay that much for a plate that was so bad.
