We enjoyed every aspect of our lunch: great service, great value Dine LA menu, delicious starters of porcini soup and burrata with perfectly ripe tomatoes; bolognese and sole for our entrees, and dessert of flourless chocolate cake for my husband and ice cream for me. Impeccable friendly, professional service too. Thank you.

The sole filet was delicious. Loved the coconut flan and chocolate martini! Excellent service from the moment our hostess showed us to our table to the staff waiting on us. 10 out of 10!

As at the dinner hours, Il Moro's food & service are superb. It was a brisk day, so we are inside, and accompanied our seafood dishes with selections from the new--and improved-- wine list. The service is always friendly and reliable. It is our favorite place for gatherings large and small.

The food, atmosphere, drinks, and more importantly, the service levels are superior. The owner is truly one of the most professional, relatable, customer-centric, great personality, and makes his customers feel special. Big fan of Il Moro!

Always outstanding food and service. Consistently excellent in every way. Amazing menu and exquisite presentation of the food.

The portions were very generous. The special of linguini seafood pasta was filled with various shellfish and seafood. Easily could feed 2 persons. The scallops were large, perfectly cooked and served with fresh veggies. The apple tart with balsamic vinegar drizzle was outstanding. Their balsamic vinegar is sweet and doesn't have that bitter aftertaste--excellent.

We used to go to El Morro and stopped because the quality was not as good. Tried it again and it was back to being very special, service and the food were excellent.

Il Moro has long been a favorite and this dinner proved why. On a rainy Friday night it was busy inside and we were surprised by the live music though thre was a sign on the door. They played in the bar so it provided great background music, not the normal loud recorded music of other restaurants. I had told my girlfriend, normally a light eater, that the portions were always generous but we both ordered an appetizer and main dish; the squash soup and lobster/crab bisque were delicious and some of it went home. She had the branzino and I had the seafood pasta. Both were beautifully prepared, unlike the dominant red sauce Italian restaurants which we also appreciate but cannot compare to Il Moro. Once again large portions accompanied us home. She know undersood why this place has been among my favorites for decades. The service was also terrific as it usually is; a server appeared just when you needed one, yet they did not hover. The new manager, formerly my favorite server, has ensured the service was top notch.

One of the most beautiful patios for dining in LA This place is truly a hidden gem. Food is delicious, especially the Lobster (non-dairy) Bisque. Truly outstanding! Service is friendly and professional. Prices very reasonable given the quality and ambiance. Consistently great.

The special, spaghetti pescatore, was horrible. A lot of old and poorly prepped fish over a bed of spaghetti . Decent broth. I used to eat here all the time many years ago. Hadn't been back in a while, and I don't think I will rush back any time soon
