Beware of stale and low quality samosa. Got two curries and samosa. Curry were okay, not super great but not bad. Samosa takes the award — it was stale inside and probably gone bad from yesterday and instead of throwing them, they warmed it and served. It was take out so I had no way to return it but it is unethical to serve food that had gone bad. Avoid fries from counter top here. Other food or curries okay.

This place is amazing. I've been coming since I was 15, and I'm 36 years old now. The family that runs it is always there, behind the counter, ready to help anyone find what they're looking for. The food options have so much variety, different rices, different vegetable options, different proteins, amazing lassi drinks and an assortment of canned beverages are behind the counter. It's right in the middle of downtown but it's away from the hullabaloo of the main road, so it feels like it takes up very much it's own space. It's authentic Indian food and it's very delicious. I'm so grateful the place has been around as long as it has. There's something to say about anyone who does the same thing for 2 decades, they definitely love what they do, and there's a steadiness to them that you can count on. Go for a meal, stay for awhile, in an alcove away from the city.
If you go on Tuesdays, you can walk to the Farmer's Market, right across the street.

Vegetarian options: The whole menu is vegetarian, some options are even vegan.

Very good take away place including platter (veggie and non veg) and snacks like cashews fried and also mirch bhaji etc and check with mohan for allergies

This is my go-to neighborhood place. Love the food! Everyone is kind and the atmosphere is relaxed.

We've been enjoying the amazing food at this establishment for over 20 years, often after our nearby dance class. The food is always authentic and delicious, and the ambiance is wonderful. The owners, Mr. Moan and his wife Susan, are from Kerala and even offered us valuable advice for our travels to South India. Their warm hospitality and flavorful dishes keep us coming back. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good, down-to-earth dining experience!

The owner is a fraudster, I have caught him entering the wrong amount for grocery items twice into the register. He does not keep a proper register to show the amount for each item and hikes them up by 50-60% cause most customers will just not ask for the receipt and check individually.
A lot of their food is expired, I bought a chocolate and it was nasty from inside and had expired 7 months ago.
They have flies all over the place and probably rodents in their kitchen.

They said they have buffet but it’s just rice and 2 curry combo. The food was tasteless. The rice quantity was little less. They charged me extra for some more rice. No ambience. They placed some chairs outside the store and that’s it. Never ever recommend it.

Please protect this place at all costs. I used to come here frequently on my lunch breaks in 2016 and fell absolutely in love with vegetarian Indian cuisine. They serve so many great options that expanded my culinary palette for such an unbeatable price, especially when I was a student. Vegetarian food how it's supposed to be enjoyed: seasoned well, spiced well, cooked with experience and love. It inspired me to learn how to cook Indian veg curries from scratch and maintain my health. I love this place so much and I am so glad it's still around.
