I met two girlfriends for dinner. We tried the price fixe menu and loved everything we ordered. We went relatively early and at first could hear each other just fine, but as the crowd came in for dinner it became harder to hear. Overall, though, I would highly recommend Baar Baar.

Good was good, not great. Everything was lukewarm when it came out. Not very attentive staff, had to run down a waiter to order.

What a disappointment! The food was so beautifully prepared, I was expecting phenomenal flavors but oh, it was not to be. I have never had such bland Indian food, nay, any food that was as bland as our dinner last night. We tried five different dishes and they were all devoid of any flavor or spice. It's not a good sign when the only thing we remarked on and truly enjoyed was the wine and cocktails. I appreciated having lots of menu options for our group's various dining proclivities and the service was very friendly and attentive but the lack of taste in any of the dishes was truly surprising. To then receive a giant bill in the end having not enjoyed any of the dishes was even more disappointing. I felt duped. Still do.

Our first time having dinner at Baar Baar and it was truly an amazing experience. Our server Layla, and team were excellent and the food was just fantastic!

Great bartender, food came quickly and tasty. Portions on the small side, wish the music wasn't so loud for an nearly restaurant.

A Tale of Two Visits 💔 My initial dining experience at Baar Baar was nothing short of spectacular! ✨ The entire evening was a joy, highlighted by truly amazing service and wonderful dishes. I left feeling impressed and eager to return. Unfortunately, our most recent visit fell dramatically short of that high standard. While the quality of the cuisine remains impressive—the food is still undeniably very tasty and flavorful 🌶️😋—the service side of the restaurant was a massive letdown and significantly spoiled the overall experience. 😔 The Service Disappointment 🚩 Our server, though seemingly enthusiastic, appeared more focused on their own agenda than on us as guests. They were very keen on giving recommendations, which I usually enjoy and am open to exploring, but they consistently ignored any direct questions we posed about the menu or our order. It felt like we weren't being listened to at all. 🙄 The fundamental issue, however, was the inattention to basic necessities. Simple items like water and extra spoons were forgotten or delayed multiple times. ⏳ This constant need to chase down essentials was highly disruptive and frankly, unacceptable. Final Recommendation 🤔 Given the premium price point of dining at Baar Baar 💸, one expects and deserves a polished, attentive service experience to match the cost. Because of how things went this last time, I would currently recommend going elsewhere for a better overall value and dining environment. That said, if you are a true food connoisseur who can genuinely tolerate and mentally block out frustrating service just to savor high-quality, delicious cooking, then you should absolutely still go for the food alone! 💯 Just manage your expectations regarding the hospitality.

My friends and I loved our experience at Baar Baar. Unfortunately it was raining like crazy on the day we had reservations for but that didn't stop us. We arrived to a rather empty restaurant (probably due to the rain). Staff took care of us right away seating us and explaining the menu. We had heard that they're known for their cocktails so we each ordered a different one. All of them were really good and I can see why people say their cocktails are good. The bar is also really impressive if you just wanted to come for a drink. All the cocktails are named after famous Indian movies which was really cute. For the food, we opted into the prix fixe menu (all parties at your table must participate) but it was perfect because the menu had a lot of their most popular items that we would've wanted to order and try anyways. We did end up ordering 2 extra items - the lamp chops as well as the jalapeno cheese naan. It ended up being more than enough food but everything was so good and we were so happy to try it all. The puri puri amuse bouche was SO GOOD! The avocado bhel appetizer dish was also surprisingly good. The traditional butter chicken with the saffron rice was classic but delicious and I loved the seabass fish as well as the jalapeno cheese stuffed naan. I normally don't care for beans but I can see why the Black Dairy Dal is $15!! It was so flavorful and a must get. Both the dessert options (Gulab jamun cheesecake and Strawberry Cassata) were yummy too. Not too sweet for both.

Highly recommend the paneer masala and garlic naan with butter. A lovely family-run establishment that has become a favorite.
