i came after desperately searching for a late night dinner option in the mid-city/mid wilshire area and india’s grill did not disappoint!!! i have left feeling completely satiated and the food was absolutely delicious.
upon walking in i was greeted by one of their team members and he convinced me to dine in which i’m so happy i did.
i ordered the chicken korma dinner—which came with very decent portions of chicken, rice, curried chickpeas, curried lentils and yogurt, an order of veggie samosas and a mango lassi.
the first thing they brought out was the mango lassi and after my first sip, i knew that the food was going to be amazing! next they brought out the veggie samosas and that was the final confirmation that i needed that this meal was going to be authentic indian cuisine!
everything is made in-house and the quality of ingredients shines through every bite. i couldn’t help but want to scrape my plate clean because everything was so good. i was stuffed halfway through the meal because of the healthy portion sizes and took a small to-go box to snack on later.
they close at midnight which is perfect for those of us craving a late night dinner option. the prices are fair and the food is magnificent so its the perfect win-win. i knew after the first few bites that this would be my new favorite indian restaurant and i cannot wait to come back! this is the type of meal you dream about and crave for a while because it is literally THAT good.
