These guys don’t accept cash so I went next door to La Colombe. How pretentious. Wake up! The Pandemic has been over for years!

Coffee was amazing. I got the Not so Irish Latte. It wasn't too sweet and you could taste the non-alcoholic bourbon in the drink. They have coffee for sale and on Saturdays, you get $2 off a single origin bag of coffee. The place was gorgeous. Mostly outside seating but it's under a roof. Slow turnover, a good place to catch up with friends. Wouldn't recommend studying here.

“A leader in Third Wave Coffee, which still leads LA’s hipness.”#Intelligentsia_Coffee #Silver_LakeIntelligentsia Coffee started in Chicago (currently Peet's Coffee is the majority shareholder). We are a leader in the <3rd wave> of coffee defined by fair trade and sustainability. There are four Intelligentsia Coffee locations in LA, with branches in Silver Lake, a hipster neighborhood, Venice, an artist's district (now a cannabis district), and Pasadena, a shopping and cultural tourist district. And the Hollywood branch opened very recently.I used to live near Pasadena and visited the Pasadena branch often, but this is my first time visiting the Silver Lake branch. The Intelligentsia Silver Lake branch is significant as it is the first Intelligentsia branch outside of Chicago. Since the New York branch was opened, it is easy to understand how much significance is given to the LA SIlver Lake branch.#atmosphereThe strong contrast between the red Latin American-style exterior and the sky blue tile floor, a symbol of Intelligentsia, strangely makes you feel at home. The tables and chairs lined up in Pedio are disorganized, but they clearly show the free-spirited spirit of hipsters. The products displayed here and there actually become pretty decorations. Of course, I had the urge to buy, so I bought two red-rimmed mugs, which are Intelligentsia's iconic mugs.#coffeeThe freshness of coffee is indescribably good. Drinking hand-drip coffee roasted with a refreshing but appropriate acidity will also make you feel better. The acidity of coffee is determined by the degree of roasting... This place seems to roast a little more than Blue Bottle. The overall acidity of the coffee is a little less than that of Blue Bottle, so it's perfect for those who don't like acidity... It provides the right amount of acidity even for those who like acidity.#SynthesisIntelligentsia Coffee went beyond Chicago and settled in LA and is still loved by LA hipsters. Compared to the past, there are many more self-roasting coffee houses in LA, but Intelligentsia's status is developing differently from that of Blue Bottle. If Blue Bottle is becoming Starbucks, Intelligentsia is still loved for its scarcity and symbolism.I Love Intelligentia!

It's unusual to put cayenne pepper on top of the Avena latte. The vanilla latte is a bit sweet.

I love the Venice location, but every visit to the Sunset location has been a disappointment. Pastries are meh and the cappuccinos are often bland and poorly foamed. When they mess up your order, and they will, and you ask them to fix it, they are surly and act as if they are doing you a reluctant favor. Do yourself a favor and go to Pazzo Gelato across the street or La Columbe a few doors down.

Overpriced. $6 just for an iced coffee that's no tastier than anything else in town. No straws. Uncomfortable seats. Go to Woodcat a little ways down the street. It's much better.

Not impressed at all, attendance like I don’t care in the register this morning , well …… not surprised if that is not the owner or someone that cares , have a good journey pal . And also $$$$$$$$$$ too much of nothing !

Always consistently great coffee and espresso! I went rouge and tried the mocha - excellent and not too sweet. Intelligentsia never

Coffee was disappointing and weak. Even after paying $7 for a latte - which included an extra shot. Fair warning: croissants are $7.50. Very noisy outside on the street. Best coffee and cafes in the area remain Cafecito Organico and Stories.

Intelligentsia workers voted to unionize this year. The company is attempting to union bust by continually delaying contract negotiations hoping that the union will weaken or dissolve. Let management know how you feel about this.

Geez, this place sucks. I've got a simple question about the food I picked up this morning and not only does the phone number listed everywhere online not work, the online form on their central website won't even let me ask a question

Really nice ambiance and layout! My croissant was perfectly flaky, though I should have asked them to warm it up for me. My avena latte was great too. Just the right amount of cayenne. If I'm paying $7 for a latte it better be like this

Really lazy made cappuccino, not worth the price imo

Coffee was good, chai was really good, service was OK, not very helpful, almost annoyed. The place is designed very nice. They have sandwiches too so if you're looking for something more than pastries, make sure to look near the enterance in the cooler.
