Heart broken that they appear to be closed. This was our favorite spot in L.A. for father son time. Really hope this is a temporary setback and they reopen soon.

Drove from Orange County and they were closed with a note on the door, wish they had posted online somewhere.

Food was fantastic. The server is the best I have come across. Lot of vegan options too. Strongly recommend.

Food was pretty good but not so the service. It was a Sunday afternoon around 3 pm. The restaurant had very few customers. It took almost 10 minutes to get a menu (I actually had to ask for it.) Another 10 minutes to get my order in...the waiter was talking to other customers at the bar the whole time. I don't think I'll return again.

Service and food were exceptional! I had one very nice Tequila shooter. This could become an excellent and regular early afternoon luncheon and gathering hot spot!

There is great potential here...if service (food wait-time) was significantly better. The vegetarian options here are vast and all unique. 4.5/5The ambience is decent but with some music, or water fountains/wall decor if could be better. 4/5The service in general was very slow and the wait time for the food even slower; expect a 20 mins wait time. I suggest order everything at once. 3/5Overall, because of the very slow wait time 3.5/5

I've been wanting to come out to this place for a long time, since on Instagram I see a bunch of hype, especially with the cat delivery machine, as well as the adorable bao's. Yes, when I went, I did see the cat delivery machine, but for the two times I went, they did not have the adorable bao's (bao's with all the cute animals.) They do have a decent selection of dim sum items, but of course the SGV dim sum's will have a lot more of variety. I did get the multi-colored dumpling, and that was really an interesting choice and you couldn't really tell what was going to be in which dumpling. There was a huge bao I got which was delicious. I especially like the squid ink dumplings as that is a personal favorite of mine. My friend liked the whiskey over here, and thought it was top tier. The vibe is cute, they do have a nice selection of teas to go with the meal, which I appreciate.

I love that they have a page full of vegan dim sum. We didn't try any this time but will be coming back to try some vegan options. The traditional dim sum was so delicious! We were disappointed they didn't have any of the character baos. They pretty much didn't have half of the items on the dessert page. Also, we came on Thanksgiving weekend and there was only one worker. The place is small but he took orders, COOKED and prepared drinks for the entire restaurant. Not sure how he kept it together. Good thing he had the cat robot to help serve! I didn't catch his name but shoutout to you, rockstar!

BEWARE OF ‘B’ HEALTH RATING! ? The quality of this place has diminished since it’s opening, so I wasn’t all that surprised when I noticed the B rating in the window (from Sep’23). I won’t return until it’s back to an A.

For those prices there are better options in L.A. The dimsum are just average in my opinion.

Finally, dim sum on the westside! So excited! FoodSiu Mai - this is very juicy, highly recommend.Turnip Cake - The slightly crisp outside and the tender inside is amazing! Shrimp and Chive dumpling - This tastes SO good! Steamed White Sugar Rice Cake - I order this at every dim sum restaurant. It came out piping hot and loved it. Honey comb beef - The beef was SO tender. Would order again.Lou Mi Gai - This was decent, I'd probably skip it next time.White Phoenix Claws - They used to have this on the menu, so I'm hoping they'll bring it back!ServiceDim sum service is always all the over place no matter where we go. Definitely a hit or miss depending on the time you go. If it's not busy, the servers are very attentive. AmbianceI LOVE the outdoor dining option. There are heat lamps and I'm always grateful during these strange times we live in. Who else can say they've had dim sum al fresco?ParkingThere's street parking but it probably gets very busy during prime meal times.

We never received the very first item we ordered. Our waiter had suggested it. During our meal, we repeatedly asked the waiter about the missing dish and he kept telling us that he would check on it. Finally, an hour and a half later he told us that the restaurant wasn't serving that dish because they were lacking one of the ingredients. When we received the bill, we gave our waiter 2 credit cards to split the check. We were then given 1 receipt. Apparently, they charged our 2 cards without our signatures and without our being able to add a tip. We were told we could leave a cash tip. Very strange. We did enjoy our meal and the food was very good.

My friend and I stopped in and tried several items from the vegan menu. My favorites were the faux pork bao and the mushroom soup dumplings. There were many other items on the menu I'd like to try. The server was very friendly and helpful. They had a fun cat robot that came to the table and sang. It was quiet and calm on a weekend afternoon. Parking is a challenge here but that's not the business' fault. Definitely recommend a visit!

The food is really great but it takes forever to come out. This is the kind of place you go to chat with someone that you haven't seen in awhile, not the kind of place you can go before you see a movie. Solid bar selection
